We have a double, tandem garage and his side is full of his double cab pick up and New Discovery while mine has my Grand C4 and all the junk, our garages also have a huge attic for junk.

Last time we were house hunting we wouldnt consider most houses because while they were claiming to have huge garages that not one of our cars would fit and we wanted a REAL garages to keep the cars in and not a brick shed.

We even saw a "double garage" that was to short for a car!

I could fit my old mk4 Golf in and get out of it no problem with my wifes running machine at the back but lately its turned into a junk room. I plan on getting a shed this summer so the garage will be for my car again.

I tell the insurance company both cars are kept on the drive.

We've got a double garage and hubby's car would just about fit in one side, the rest was full of junk - on the floor too!

So late last year we decided we couldn't stand it any longer so we invested in a little shed where the worst of the junk went. Then we took the plunge and bought a couple of nice cabinets and a workbench from this place garage storage. It's called GaragePride

Now I can get my Mini in as well, all the stuff is in lovely coloured cabinets, he has a workbench and the bikes are hanging off the wall on special brackets. With white painted walls and additional lighting it's like another room now and I wish I'd let him talk me into it years ago! :o
