My budget started from 22 Jan and I have spent over half my budget :o However, I have enough:-

washing powder, conditioner, and toiletries for the month
    cereal for the month
food for main meals to last till 15 Feb (leaving only 10 days more to get food for - before payday)

So now my freezer is jam packed - I think I only need to get milk, bread and fresh fruit and veg for the next couple of weeks (oh and Bisto). That will also give me a chance to look out for yellow stickered items too ;)

Hoping I'll finally be able to come in under budget :o

I was so pleased with how I did on this challenge in September and October. November got off to a reasonably good start, and then there was a family crisis that has kept me fully occupied for the last couple of months. But I'm back on the wagon for February. :)

I need to up my weekly spend because I've got more people in the house for more of the week than I used to, so please put me down for £60 pw and £40 for extras (like eating out or having people round). So could you put me down for £240 please Mrs M? I'm having an extra target of keeping my spending diary up to date for the whole month.

Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Hi I have spent £340 from my annual budget, but I have loads of meat in the freezer and tins/packets in the store cupboard thanks to approved foods.
    My self & hubby; 2 sons (30 & 26). Hubby also a found daughter (37).
Eldest son has his own house with partner & her 2 children (11 & 10)
Youngest son & fiancé now have own house.
    So we’re empty nesters.
    Daughter married with 3 boys (12, 9 & 5).
My mother always served up leftovers we never knew what the original meal was. - Tracey Ulman

My online shop arrived today so that's £46.26 off this month's budget! On the plus side I now have enough shampoo and fabric conditioner to last at least three months, and I ended up with an extra muller rice for free in my shopping. I've developed a bit of a thing for muller rice recently, which is a bit of an expensive habit at 54p per pot!
