O2 offered Pixon only for broken LG Renoir !

Hello folks

O2 have offered me a Pixon as they couldnt repair my Renoir. I refused to take it.

The manager said they are similar spec phones but I knew they were not (as I compared them initially when I upgraded and opted for the Renoir hands down) but at the time I was in the store I just couldnt put my finger on why that was. The manager was not around and I left with the assistant suggesting she would get the manager to call me to explain.

Back on the internet, I now know why I didnt choose it in the first place....1) The Camera on the Renoir is superior (8mp on both but Renoir has nicer actual camera and flash) and most importantly 2) the Pixon doesnt have WiFi which I use an awful lot

Can someone advise which phone I should settle for please? Ive been without my phone for more than 2 weeks now (theyve given me a basic nokia as replacement).

withPeace

Point out the features that you want the new handset to have that they are important to you. If they can't deliver a handset with those features then ask them to release you from your contract and go elsewhere :)
Personally I don't know what would be a fair exchange for the handset - I've got an HTC magic which I love but I suspect it's a slightly different kettle of fish... :)

Is the HTC Magic way ahead, i.e. in a different league to the Renoir?

The renoir has 8mp camera, wlan, touch screen, etc. Not asking for the world. Want something half decent.

Nope only a 3.2 cam but then that wasn't on my list of must haves... that's why I have a high spec DSLR ;) And a high spec vid cam :D
It has wifi and obviously you can connect to the internet - it's the main point of the phone ;)
You can get loads of free apps for it and yes it's touch screen... look up some of the reviews on it :)

    Personally I like it...

O2 simply don't stock enough phones to be honest so you are limited in what you can ask for- I'd look at the Samsung Galaxy which is an O2 exclusive.
