Help with Humax PVR 9300T please

Options
Had the box since about October, no problems with it then just after Christmas, every time we turned it on, a message would come up asking up to search for all programmes again - we do that and save them but next time we turn on there is the message again:o

Anyone know how to stop this blighter please?

Are you using the latest software release which came out around end November '09? Check in the system menus which version is installed.

  • Must have had my Humax switched on at the last update so November is the last update. Read that they're doing another one on Monday. Will this fix the faults I'm getting i.e not recording some scheduled programs? Seems to happen when I choose whole series. Thanks for any advice.

Check out the Digital Spy Humax forum, plenty of faults and fixes/explanations.

You've just missed the last OTA upgrade (last Thursday) for the 9300T. It's repeated this Monday, schedule here:
    http://www.dtg.org.uk/industry/download_schedule.php
You should be on version 0.19 after this upgrade (current version is 0.18).

It's shown as the 9300T only, but since it's now on air why don't you go and try it and see if it downloads for yours? Just do a software search from the menu button
the 2 are very similar except for the hard drive capacity.
If not keep a eye on the OTA schedule.

  • I did try it before I left for work and nothing showing but then I tuned in to BBC1 and had to leave it searching I'll let you know how it goes, thanks for answering.

OTA update only commenced at 10am. Do a manual search when you get home.
