We have a long list of things we are implimenting at the moment:
Growing our own vegetables in our allotment for family and friends.
Making our own garden compost.
Turning down our thermastate on the gas boiler.
Making my own savoury and sweet meals from scratch using family recipes.
Recycling products we buy.
We are also watching our electricity and gas consumption and turning off things not in use.
Using the freecycle websites.
We can't afford any drastic changes to our house like solar panels or buy posh environment products so any little changes has to help the environment.0 -

I'm lucky to have recently started work as an Environmental Consultant only 4 miles from my house, so once the weather cheers up a bit I plan to cycle to work.
Three bonuses for one action:
1. Do my bit to cut carbon emissions, reduce climate change and save our diminishing fossil fuel resources
2. Save petrol money and the wear and tear of short journeys on my car
3. Get super fit and healthy
Who said you can't have your cake and eat it!?
