My DD still has a bottle for her milk in the mornings and evenings just before bed. I just don't know what to put her milk in now. Any sugestions? It needs to be pretty free flowing as she get's bored easily. :rotfl:

what does she drink water from? Maybe buy her a 'special' cup just for milk? My ds is younder than your dd but we use one of the 360 degree cups. They look like a normal cup but are non spill as the liquid flows when they put their mouth to the cup.

Yeah she had one of those 360 cups but instead of sucking, she chewed it so it would leak continuously. Also her "juice bottle" has a weird lip which will only let water/squash through and not anything thick.

Can she drink cows' milk, instead of the baby milks? Cows' milk ins't thick.

Tommie tippie do a freeflow beaker too, that will let anything through but it does spill if she decided to turn it upside down!

Milks houldnt have a problem getting through tho.. its same consistancey as water more or less. we use a nuby for milk HTH

I haven't tried her on cows milk yet, which one can I try? Is it full fat or can she go onto semi?

She should drink full fat milk until she is at least 2. I used to give my children milk out of those beakers with straws as I found that they didn't get any enjoyment out of drinking it out of an ordinary cup or sippy cup.

Give full cream milk to children between 1 and 2 years of age. Whole milk has 4% fat.
Children over 2 years of age do not need full cream milk. Choose low fat (reduced fat) milk. Low fat milk has 1 to 2% fat.
Don't give skim milk ('99.9% fat free') to children under 5 years old.
