  • Main business is selling plastic storage boxes. Boring but brings in the money. I sell on ebay, and have my own website. Works fine, but to go from del boy to richard ranson, I need to seriously kick bottom.

I have to produce a brochure and some flyers and send them out to one of my target markets. Simple really but amazing how much it pains me to even think about it !

I have 4 kids and I am on my own. 12 yrs, 6 yrs, 4yrs and 3 months. I wanted 6 but had to be sterilized due to 4 caesarians. So I am gutted. Think once your house gets to a certain level of chaos, and the cobwebs get to a certain thickness, and the tiredness renders you close to useless, then thats it and it wont get much worse. You could throw triplets into the mix now and I dont think it would make much difference - I barely sleep, eat, clean or chill. Oh well, I adore them so I wouldnt have it any other way.

    Good grief you are superwoman!!

You have achieved so much and have an awful lot of responsibility and admire you as I only have one child (she's 14) but work part-time and try to ebay part-time and that's enough for me.

I would be happy to help you with the flyers and such, if you might be interested? Not sure how to go about it fully being a bit far apart, but nothing ventured and all that.........

Going to buy my massage table later (when I've woken up enough to fully function! How can I be so sleepy especially when MSE was down last night?)

If you dont mind me asking, where are you getting you rmassage table from? and how much are you paying? Im only asking because i got mine from a discount store online, i paid £40 for it (it was new) and it has 2 face rests, removable arms, adjustable legs, all you could need really. Dont want you spending more than you have to! They may not have them still, but just so you know you can get them that cheap as similar models to mine go for £100 plus normally.

Will need to buy some towels too (from poundstretchers) but don't no what colour to get. Lemon maybe? Nice and fresh looking?

What base are you going to use for massage? If youre using something like grapeseed then leomon will be ok, but please bear in mind the oils can stain easily (if youre going to use oils) and so maybe a darker colour would be better in the long run? I got fairly cheap towels from dunelm mill (dark purple) hide stains, and are egyptian cotton so last well too.

  • munchki - I was going to mention it to you the other night but thought more pressing issues to discuss :D

I was looking for reps last year, people who would go to target market places and secure orders on commission basis, but MSE pulled that thread too !

I have a super duper printer and all comb binding stuff so I can put the brochures together, but in reality I just cant be bothered to design the brochure and flyer. Pure laziness. Oh god, I just admitted out loud I am lazy. I have been trying to deny it for years.

off to redeliver these lids. one thing off the things to do list. And DD3 is ill so I need to get her from pre school. Another excuse to avoid doing anything...

  • That's sounds pretty bad hun. The first time my little man did a poo on his potty he sat there shouting 'I need all the grown ups in the bathroom right now' all matter of factly, waited til everyone was there and stood up all proudly(bless) and asked me to take photos of it (not so bless) :rotfl:
He still likes to have a good look at his poos before there flushed, he's a strange one.

Ewwwwwwwwww I nearly spat my croissants all over the screen :rotfl:

Whitewillow - the table is £39.95 plus £25 (P+P). I don't use oil, I normally use massage cream as I've found too many people react to the oils. Hopefully shouldn't stain.
  • Mambury, that's a great idea to start a fetish ebay - though I'll put that in the long-term plan list I think for when I've learnt a bit more about websites.

Right now I want something that'll bring in some cash nooooooooooooow, so probably need to concentrate on promoting my current sites - that is what I could really do with help on, if anyone has any ideas ...

I'm off sick at the moment and this is driving me insane! I'm so bored, same four walls, daytime rubbush tv, my laptop's making weird snoring noises this morning, i hate being off work, i can't get out of bed agghhhh.

Right, act together, i'm going to write a list of all my ideas and start prioritising them. I've got about 6 projects on the go and have stopped them all as i've taken on too many. I'm going to give the reverse calendar a go - i think that's what it was called.

Everyone's doing so well - keep up the great work people! x
    Just £10,852.28p to go...

    :D

    Trust that little voice in your head that says "Wouldn't it be interesting if...";
    And then do it.

MMMTWGR and munchki - don't know if you fancy joining the Task Slayers ning group but if you do PM me you email addy and I'l send you an invite.
its basically a group for those of us who find it hard to get things done for our own projects but are easily inspired to do things for other people.
We can post up tasks that we need doing but never get round to and we can volunteer to do a task for someone else.
That way we do things we feel more motivated to do but our own projects move forward too.
Ning is a place where you can make your own social network site either public or private. ours is private.
So we have our own discussion forum and other features.
its just getting going and I've just added my first task request.
Also we accept that if someone does a task or research for us it might not be perfect but it will be a good starting place for us even if to clarify what we don't want.
eg if someone came up with wording for a leaflet for you its probably easier to rewrite parts so they suit you more than to start the whole thing from scratch. So even if their attempt wasn't perfect it has got the ball rolling. if that makes sense.
