That's a shame about the name Shell, but probably best to change the name slightly to avoid confusion if nothing else and make you stand out.
I'm crap at names but if I think of something I'll post it.
Feeling really cryd now this afternoon. No motivation left, my mouth hurts from my absess and I'm still waiting for the referral to the hosptal to have it out
Feel like I'm wasting a day as DD is at nursery so I have no ecxuse but all I want to do is curl up in my pyjamas0 -

Like with anything really, some people will be gloating about huge sales from day one, others will be having a gripe that there's nothing selling.
There are a lot of shops on there and if you join (no fee etc) there is a forum where you can ask away and the other members and site owner are all very helpful
At last check I know it was a ridiculously small amount to put something up for sale and it stayed up for 3months and no selling fee etc.
One problem is because people who aren't on the site frequently buy, there is often no feedback left, but if you are unsure, again ask in the forum and people are honestI know that last time they were also thinking about implementing an 'amount sold' as well as feedback to help this

Thank you Pandora! And for the helpful hint re craft fairs too! Can I join Misi without actually selling anything at first, so I can have a browse around the forum etc?

I am having to have serious words with myself .... a friend of mine needs and egg doner so I am considering it , the problem being that in considering it I have got the thought of another surrogacy into my head - now while it would be one way to get an extra £10,000 into the house this year , I'd have to show proof of spending it on pregnancy expences to the court ,its definatly not easy , would be insainly painful, my family would disown me and I may well end up permanatly disabled if i get pregnant again - but i still want to do it !!! someone kick me !I am journeying to a debt-free life.
Our estimated debt-free date is January 2040. I'm on a mission to bring that date closer!

Anyone have experience of buying clothes in charity shops and selling them on ebay etc? Saw a couple of good dresses in one today, a Monsoon and a Jigsaw for £4.99 each. Is it worth trying as neither would actually fit me if they didn't sell.0

Yes, that's exactly what I've done... all the good intentions and not happened yet, but lots of people I know use it and is fab and the owner is often on and if any problems or suggestions for site and she listensI've bought off it, no trouble too

Liz no experience but try a wee search see if you can find them on there, Both good makes so they could very well sell.
Jane, Your health and you own children are more important. YOu have already done the most marvellous thing for 2 families, you have to ask yourself is it really worth risking losing your own family or worse case senario them losing you. Your desire to help will probably always be there but you have to do what is right for you and yours. xx
I have heard very good reports of MISI if I am right it only started last year or the year before and had gone from strength to strength, If you are selling things on there use twitter and Facebook to you advantage.
Elly68 I am sure there would be a market for a limited edition, The build a bear shop I go to is never ever empty so lots of people buy. Got to be worth trying perhaps put it on at what you would ike for it rather than an auction.
Mirry stick em on ebay you never know got to be worth a punt and every penny over what you spent is a bonus.
Thats me for this afternoon, I am gonna turn lappy off and snuggle with dd, will be back later this evening with a big glass of rose, have all the best ideas after a large one lol xxTurn £100 into £10,000 in 2010 Member!Total so far = 0I dribble and I'm proud

Just had a look at the MISI site and I've just realised there was a MISI craft fair in Bristol last year - did want to go, but I was doing Usborne at another fair.
Think I will join - thanks to whoever suggested them.0
