  • Is it better to stick with something you've got, if it's certain but you hate it, or go for something new, but it only be 99% sure it'll work. But if it does it'd be ten times better, and very amazing.

Full head, again. Couldn't get a doctors appointment either, they just told me to call at 8am. I'll have only just got to sleep then, it won't happen!

you beat me....answering my questions whilst I was typing them!!

Also completely agree with you about tha woman/creature....I don't get any benefits becaues I have a husband who works but we struggle to survive because I am choosing to be a stay at home mom, so officially I am self employed so I can at least do any little bit of work that comes my way. But that woman is better off than us...... grrrrr:mad:.

Amber I want to but its only for 2 and I won't leave my children so not for me....good luck to the others though!

Personlly go for the better option.....if you don't you will regret it and think what if....and 'no regrets' is a fantastic policy, you don't regret anything you have done because you tried but you can regret what you didn't! (Are you going to tell us what 'it' is??)

Can OH call for a doctors apointment for you?

So Munchki just how did todays interview go? was the job for you? Fantastic news about the job in Scotland...whats that doing and whereabouts in Scotland?

The interview was good thank you and yes, I would not say no if it was offered, absolutely no stress which would be quite a change! The one in Scotland is in Dundee and for a office manager, spent about 40 mins on the phone tonight with her and have another hour conversation booked for tomorrow morning. That one is going to be a long process tho, but would not rule it out. The job spec is 20 pages long!! Have the other interview tomorrow afternoon so will see how that goes as well.

Thank you...I think I'll go for it, I just need a push! :rotfl:

I'm glad your interview went well, I had my fingers crossed all day but I didn't want to ask in case you weren't ready to say yet. Good luck for tomorrow, too!

I hope you feel better soon. I'm still feeling rubbish, hopefully I'll feel better before my night alone tomorrow :(

  • Erm, I don't know Saucy, I can't quite work out the logistics of that dilemma ...

Pixie, I assume that the story is somewhat exaggerated as is usual with the press. The real issue, I think, is not that people are so well off on benefits that they can afford all that stuff (I can't believe they receive that much money), it's that you are worse off if you work (ie, have to pay for prescriptions, council tax etc). Wages should be high enough to enable people to support themselves without depending on state help. Serious hat now off. Next post dribble.

Good luck with the interviews and feel better soon! I noticed in reading a couple of peeps are in Dundee or in the area in this thread, just waving to say another Dundonian here. If you get the Dundee job and need any help, just holler!
