    Hello again all.

Just had a thought, realising I hadn't shared some useful information to you all.

If you are selling clothes on ebay, there are some alternatives which don't have fees.

I have a personal blog with livejournal, and livejournal has communities for everything - including some Uk based buying/selling communities.

The ones I know of are:

thriftstoreuk - mostly young trendy clothes but also hand made jewellery, carft supplies, homewares, vintage clothes. Anything young nad funky really.

niceboots - Goth related clothes, accessories etcnicebootsjunior - same but for kids, babies and mums to be

perfect_twenty - for plus size clothing

There are plenty of others too, but I have no eprsonal knowledge of them.

Each community may only have 50 or so members but the benefits of selling on a community are:
No fees (so good for small items where listings fees suck up the profit)
Targetted buyers (your items appear all together in one post which will often appear on the member's friend list so they can browse you as though you were a shop. This means people will buy things they were not looking for, but just take a fancy to!)

Most communties will require you to have an active journal, and earn a fee feedback points before you sell (you cna buy or trade to get your feedback).

I assume if Livejournal ahve them then other blog hosts such as blogger etc MUSt have them too. It's just a case of finding them.

    Hope that helps someone.

Amber - I no like that listing. I can read tarot a little bitty but havent for ages. To methat listing looks like some one who had got a DIY tarot deck for christmas and is trying.

That's pretty much the same impression I got - 'oh look, other people make money doing this so I'll just make something up and get paid for it'. It certainly doesn't come across as professional or committed.

I have just signed up for amazon Marletplace , the rason being that while i was out this afetrnoon I spotted a new charity shop and it was full of very cheap brand new books - took a chance on just 2 for now ( only had a little bit of cash on me and needed the bus fare home) paid 50p each for them and they are currently the cheapest of their type on amazon listed at £8 and £12.50 just crossing everything they sell .

    Well done jane.

Well I have spent far too long today trying to find a profit opportunity. I'm back at my old faithful - Tesco points.

Got a good deal on 30 ink cartridges (3000 points) and signed up for three months DVD (1000 points), along with the two Samsung phones that I am recycling (400 points) that's 4400 points for the day.

Also bought myself 12 notebooks that qualify for a free cineworld ticket each, at a cost of £2.00 per book.

It all has a potential ebay re-sale value, but I use them for cheap holidays, entertainment etc.
I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.
