    Oh no thats typical!
My head seems full at the moment, I think I need to speak to a careers advisor- does anyone know if this service is available for adults?
Just updated my sig with my new total from sales from ebay- better than I thought!!

Not sure this will help, but I had a really nice and helpful careers advisor with my old local job centre plus. I just rang them and made an appointment. Still in contact with her even tho I no longer live near there!

Are we allowed to share our Facebook names and things? Would be good to be able to 'speak' to folks outside of MSE.

If you go to Facebook and search for a group called 10k to 10000 I think thats how I found it on there, and join there is a discussion where everyone has put their user names from here! :D

LizD - if you look at the links on the first page of this thread there is a link to the facebook group associated with this thread and peoples names are on there if that helps.

Nixi - try not to be too hard on yourself, having children is a full-time job without everything else on top.
Just try and take 1 hour to concentrate solely on what you want to do and 'do one thing' a day. I know how you feel about things going slowly x

Thank you LizD, I know you are right but some days I feel so motivated and get nothing done as I can't find the time and then the motivation just dispears..... I just know if I brought some money in then life would be easier....vicious circle!

Anyone else sitting in the middle of a snow blizzard?

Fab - both sounnd like they have propspects, better than that carehome job you applied for lol!

Right need to go and do something useful.....not only lost my mojo for this challenge but also for doing anything, just can't seem to get going this week :(
Know exactly what you mean, it's so hard when everything else gets in the way! I think if you are still thinking about what you're trying to do then at least the ideas and the theme of the challenge are still going on in your head. Don't get down, I've been like this all week with vomiting kids (all 3!) and lack of sleep and time etc, but there will be ways round things, and any money earned is a plus :) hope the idea is good for you, will try to think of anything you could do :)
I haven't got going much either, and today I got a shocker of a letter from someone who expects us to pay back over 6 grand within nine months!! -so I'm going to use that as my motivation today lol, and for the next nine months I think!
Off to get on JSA, hoping they'll be able to help me find work that fits round the kids, not that bothered what it is right now as there really isn't much available! Then Ebay Ebay Ebay :o

Well done Munchki :T:j and well done Emminently! :T:j
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.

I'm in Devon, and it's like a beautiful spring day. Did about 2 hours in the woods with the dog as it was too nice to come home. Or maybe it was diversion tactics, I really should have been doing something more constructive & money making. Hey ho. I'm making the most of it while it lasts.
    Hope everyon'e snow goes soon.
