Nixi - try not to be too hard on yourself, having children is a full-time job without everything else on top.
Just try and take 1 hour to concentrate solely on what you want to do and 'do one thing' a day. I know how you feel about things going slowly x0 -

No snow here as yet but blooming freezing, think we've got damp in our bedroom as well (on wall next to fitted wardrobe where boiler is <not great>
