Morning everyone! I'm stealing 2 minutes on the computer at work before anyone else turns up, lol, just had a thought that might be of some help. There are lots of stressed out peeps on here, who are trying to juggle work/the challenge/kids/housework etc. I used to be entirely hopeless at keeping up with housework, even now that my kids pretty much take care of themselves! It's absolutely worth a visit to the Fly Lady thread on the Old Style Board, even if like me you don't sign up, I have my own daily/weekly fly and it's made a world of difference to the time I have now for ME. Just a thought, every little helps!
Lilacpixie - I don't eat fish anymore after having got a fishbone stuck in my throat when I was a teen, but I do love the smell of Smokies!
Good luck Munchki!
Hugs for all feeling a bit down this morning.

I used to visit the Flylady thread and it really did help! Kind of deviated away from it for some reason and the house is a total tip! Might just pop back lol.0 -
MummyandPaige, how are you doing with the challenge so far?
Your OH sounds very demanding too, mine will pitch in with the kids but it all pretty much has to suit him, and occasionally will do a bit of tidying but I have to hear about it over and over and he then tells me how I do it all wrong! If I could get a job that pays as well as his then I think he'd stay at home with the kids but sadly there is nothing. We're in a similar situation with childcare to you; and since my main background is in care there aren't a lot of jobs that won't either be part-time, or want me to work weekends when the nursery is shut, or be flexible. It's frustrating, isn't it! Don't know why we keep these men around...
Will be making stuff for my shop later, if these children go to sleep. Trying to think of things to review for Dooyoo and all I'm coming up with is food, mind you I did see one girl on there who reviews a lot of food products so maybe I should go through the cupboardsI have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.0 -
Morning all!
going to get my list done and hoping to get my head down. I just never seem to have quite as much time as I want in the evening. But, then I am getting into the habit of bad time management! Just generally being like my username and dilly-dallying during the day and condensing my activities into the evening. So, I need to pick up the pace with my to do list!!!!
But, I am proud of myself as I have the following to cross off my commitment list:
Job application
Create marketing advert for Wedding show (done while watching ANTM)
Update blog (done the research set blog to auto publish will work on a few more this morning)
Marketing planning for event
Finish annual report project
Finish DVD wraps and send to printers (wraps sent to printers)
Send invitation design book to the printers
A massive thanks to Hales for updating the board too! Thanks Hales xxx10K 2010 challenge £3202.59/£10000

I've had a productive morning already, no money making yet sadly, but it will spur me on to earn some.
I have booked an eye test, hair appt, activated my new credit card, emailed two wedding venues to view their facilities for my own wedding next year, and hopefully this afternoon I can make some jewellery and sort my website out tonight.0 -
Good morning everyone! Huge hugs to any who need or want them. All showered just need to get dressed.
Thank you for the best wishes on the job front, certainly not what I want to do but I need pennies desperately and I am just not picky at the moment!
On another note. At this rate I am going to be up to £200 short for the month. Any suggestions on how to earn it before the end of the month. I dont have much anymore to sell on ebay so pretty sure that is not an option. heheh anyone need any work done??
Anyway off to get dressed and see how this informal chat as they are calling it pans out this morning!
Thanks again all and when I get back it is going to be hitting things hard again today! I am going to make this happen come hell or high water hehehI am somebody. I am me. I like being me. And I need nobody to make me somebody! Louis L'Amour0 -
Paulabear - ha, on dooyoo now, trying to do the same! Have found one lady that reviews cheese, cities, parcelforce, books you have read, local bars, lush products, shampoo, kitchen cleaner, I am cheating! Looking at what others have reviewed to get ideas! OH will pitch in too, but like yours, only when it takes his fancy, as a novelty not a chore!
Challenge is going ok so far, not as good in the last couple of weeks, seem to have all but grinded to a halt. Do have a master plan in place though, so should pick up soon, think I have come up with an idea to solve the work issue though. Will require about £200 to start and a spare room or garage/shed. Do you have them? If so will pm you details, also, might want to hold off until I have tested the water, if it works then great, if not it will only be me that has lost! Also, how handy are you on the sewing machine?turn £100 into £10000 in 2010 member #16 £567.68/£10,000 -I'm a wiggly worm, I'm a wiggly worm, how do you do, I love you, I'm wiggly worm!0 -
Do you know facebook?
Target facebookers - "I just found a lonely pink cow in the meadow", "Level 10 Assassin", etc. You know, the little posts you get on your news feed when your friends have been playing some of those addictive games on fb to while away the time.
You could produce them then advertise on facebook itself - it doesnt need to be that expensive.
Yeah i do facebook. Sorry do you mean advertise the t shirts on facebook?2016 Money challenge - £2900
