Take a deep breath, it could be worse, he could have been sick over the baby
Would actually have been easier if he had, I can bath the baby! Now have to somehow wash the couch cushions and handwash all the pukey clothes  but thanks for the sympathy! Hope you're OK, sounds like your problems are more serious than mine?I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.0 -

Ive hired a book from the library '101 ways to make a fortune from ebay' to see what tips are.

I'm selling mainly junk from around the house. But I did buy some stuff in the January sales to sell on - small kiddies' clothing items like character sock slippers, character socks, pencil cases etc - not had much luck with selling them though! (probably too near Christmas). I'll probably just stick them back on each time there's a free listing day!
So that's put me off new stock for now - I'm going to wait until I've cleared out the house - then decide what new stock I might try to sell.0 -
hi folks, SS hope you ok, ~PAula hope the cherubs are fine, seems like everyone is having a day of it one way or another. Mine is as uneventful as ever - work carp, stressed out and had a splitting headache all day! however on the plus side have had some ebay sales £22, made £10 at my cleaning, got an order for a Dr Who Tardis Cake for Saturday and have a "leaflet drop" job of 450 leaflets lined up for sunday- no idea how much that is going to pull in but hopefully will lead to other work for the same company. (anybody any idea of wages for this type of work)had a rake round charity shop in my lunch hour couldn't believe the prices:eek: some of the books were good tho but i have no idea about book prices, will have a squint in ebay later.they had a readers digest - "never pay the full price for anything again" wanted to buy it and try and knock her down on the price at the till :rotfl:(sad i know) eventually got round to putting through my new hours at work so hopefully be an extra £200-£250 in my hand on my wages at the end of feb (should have gone through in January but didnt have time!)
can i count a trip to spain for my cigarettes (dont say a word)as a moneysaver idea - chancing my luck there me thinks! Have booked a weekend with the girls to spain so will have to work twice as hard as i need spending money now and i dont want it to impact on my £10k! 19 degrees in malaga today - god i could be doing with that!
hope everybody has a better day tomorrow - will be lurking over the next couple of days as wont have time to post, so good luck!

Thanks Nixi for the very kind offer
but I live in Scarborough, don't think anyone on here lives near me? He did it again as we went up to brush teeth and it's all over the stairs, I have to now wait til the two little ones have gone to sleep before I clean them as if they hear me they'll start shouting!
(I realise this is COMPLETE dribble lol!)
Inbetween writing this I had to run upstairs again as the two year-old's sleeve apparently needed pulling down before she could go to sleep! Sorry to witter on, my OH's been doing late shifts these two weeks and it's hard work, I have to pretty much do everything as he doesn't go to sleep til about four in the morning then doesn't get up til about one, then back to work...so I'm a bit fed up
Frustrated too as I found something in a charity shop that I wanted to do up and maybe post a pic on here when finished to see what you lot thought. Oh well, back to the vomit!I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.0 -
Don't worry about dribbling, it's the dribble thread! And its helpful to get it out. I dribble all the time anyway (rotfl)
I hate vomit...we had a terrible stomach bug at nursery once, and all twelve babies began throwing up all over each other. It was horrible, and only one parent bothered to come and get their child! I've hated it since then. Not helpful, sorry!
I can't sleep with my socks on, or one foot out of the bed, so I can't get stuck under the duvet...I guess not being able to sleep with your sleeve rolled up is relatively normal compared to that!
Ooohh I'm interested in your charity shop buy!!Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -
SaucySecrets wrote: »OH is once again killing zombies on our 50", I was going to watch half of it and him have half (come on, I need my Jezza!) but he's being stubborn.
Just had an email that came like a slap round the face, and I might have to give up on the challenge and concentrate on being able to survive....Hopefully I'll be able to squeeze some help from somewhere but right now the rug has been pulled from under my feet.
saucy..... here if you need a chat!
Paulabear - open the wine!!! and RELAX!!!! Been there done that got the stais to prove it !LOL !
Well, not much to report here today except that I am bloomin' knackered! I have updated a stock list whilst the leccie was off (thank god for laptop batteries!!) and started on my business plan/cash flow type thingie! THen I took all the kids clothes (5 years worth fr two kids) out of theloft, sorted them into sizes, bundles and single items to list on ebay I am left with about five large boxes of items to go on singly and 8 (!) large boxes of bundles..... and 7 bin bags for the charity shop..... I can see me listing kids clothes all year at this rate! It took me over four hours just to go through the clothes....I haven't even taken pictures yet! It did make me sad and cry a bit cos OH doesn't want any more babies but I would love another..... never mind, be grateful for what I have (they took some getting too I'll tell you!!)
Can I ask all you mums whether you would buy big mixed bundles (30/40 items plus) on ebay or would I be better listing them as smaller bundles eg 10 tshirts, 5 pairs of trousers...... that kind of thing??? Oh, and little baby stuff I thought about 1 large neutral bundle (whites, yellows etc) of babygrows and vests.... then one large bundle of blue and one of pink......
I really want to get rid of them all (OH is rolling his eyes at the boxes already and its only been a couple of hours!) but I want to make lots of money too!
I am off to chill out now the kids are in bed, another busy day tomorrow..... swimming lessons!!!

Paula hope the kids feel better soon and your sanity returns.
Saucy hope you're ok, and it wasn't too bad.
I was full of motivation this morning before work but now I can't seem to make myself do anything. I sold a top on Ebay ad mistakenly wrote the wrong size on it so had to refund (thankfully before sending). Wasn't much but still.0
