Well he rang and said he'll be here tomorrow. I said i'll believe it when i see it, and also warned him that if he does show, i'm liable to punch him in the mouth :cool:.

He didn't say much, started asking if it was snowing etc, i said i don't really want to make small talk but if you show up i will be civil although i'm still extremely angry.

He asked if i would mind expressing some milk so he can feed her, i said there's other ways to bond with her other than feeding. He said he wants to do everything though and hopes to give me a break. *rolleyes lots*

I also remembered what someone said earlier about the good and bad bits and told him in no uncertain terms that if he thinks he's coming here to cuddle her while i do everything else he's got another thing coming - why should he get the good bits and no bad?? Although it doesn't make up for all those weeks she had colic, and the sleepless nights!!!

So in anticipation of his possible visit, i've made an extra special effort to....................................... leave all the dog crap outside for him. lmao.

I'm still so bitter and angry but i suppose i'm gonna have to give him this one chance to see his daughter, and when he messes us around again it'll be no more doormatness.

I feel stronger after reading everyone's support this morning, i think i can handle this without breaking down and thinking i want him back. I have so much to thank you all for, i owe you my sanity (whether i have any is debatable!!)

I love my dog now that we have her, BUT i wouldn't have ever considered getting one because i've always been a cat person. It was him that insisted we get a dog, and i wouldn't let him take her when we split cos my DS loves her lots.

So everytime i'm picking up her poo i think of him, so it makes me gag :rotfl:

3, a friend of mine voiced the exact same concern as you last week about her son... He's 8 now and has asd and severe learning difficulties, he's going through a very moody phase with lots of tantrums and his Drs are talking about medicating him which she doesn't want... But she's only slight and he's all gangly and all knees and elbows when he goes off on one... I didn't really know what to say apart from you always seem to cope.. Whatever the situation, there's always a way to muddle through... And if you don't... Well you cross that bridge when you come to it, there are far more other things to concentrate on right now to worry about what might happen further down the line....

Thankyou Note on the cot pic he's got his trousers undone due to muffin top issues! :rotfl:

I don't think he'd have seen the weekend through in the crib. Sleeping bags are deceptive, I didn't realise his feet were quite so close to the end
