If you do it on Quidco like Em, you'll get £20 cashback. I didn't because I wanted them both signed up at the same time, just in case and the website didt have the option for 2 pets.
But yeah it seems pretty decent. Only wish I got mine sorted before the cat ate some dress!
OH job should be safe for about 1 year (hopefully) Schlumberger (the big oil company) has bought over Smith, which bought over OH's company. They have his department already and they WILL dissolve it, though they are saying they won't but of course they will, it has no benefit to them.
But its not for 6months before the merger and obv everything after that, so about a year, though they could put him in the sclumberger place. God knows. Another company could buy OH's company off Schlum, as OH's company is useless to them, so hopefully!
But OH is away to push on and learn the computer aspect to hsi job so he is fully qualified, then start looking for other jobs.
Nightmare! Oh I left my phone number at a bar on Saturday, and they said they'll give me a phone when an opening comes up!0 -

Buttons, I insured Scruffy (fluffy one) and I'm gonna wait for the quidco cashback to track before I ring up and add Scrappy on, cos I dont wanna miss out on my £20 :rotfl:
I wonder if I'd get the quidco twice if I did Scrappy seperately? If so I'd just do it straightaway, it works out more than the multi pet discount anyway!
You should get quidco twice as its separate transactions. I've had 2 contracts from Virgin mobile and tracked and paid out both times.
Multipet and multicar are a total rip off!!!!!0 -

Susan and Feelie (and anyone else considering it), may I ask why you would prefer your LO's to be home schooled? I was badly bullied at school, my mum was in a wheelchair, my parents had split up, I wore glasses and was fat, so I didnt exactly get an easy time of it! But I still wouldnt consider home schooling Seth, and I feel that personally I would be depriving him of the interaction skills he would learn there, given that he is an only child and is likely to be until school age (AF is visiting after all this month, thank god!!) Aside from that, I would rather a teacher taught him, as I would think that once he got a bit older I would be lost on trying to teach him things like algebra and stuff, I didnt understand it at school so no way would I be able to teach it! How would you get around that?
I don't think school is an essential to developing social and interation skills. I think it is more natural, and 'better' to mix with a wider variety of ages, through things like clubs, groups and the like. I'd want to homeschool with a community, like my sister in law does, I wouldn't do it where I am now, unless I found a much larger support network. I like the one-to-one (or similar low ratio) of homeschooling, and I don't have any worries about my abilities to teach up to GCSE level.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

those with older LOs When did you/do you plan to give them 'under cooked' eggs/meat and unpasteurised cheese?
Sami - I do Katie a 6 minute boiled egg (large) now, and its runny enough for her to dunk.
I think I waited until she was 2 to offer boiled eggs.
I don' t like undercooked meat so it's not offered, she does like pate though.
Unpasterised Cheese - not even entered my head for her to try it tbh, she does love her cheese though.
Evening, I'm just catching up.Proud to be dealing with my debts
