Awww, tia that dress is so adorable! I'm now jealous of all you with adorable little girls to dress in cute little dresses :o:o - I love my little boy, of course, but it's just not the same! :p:p (I'm also going to steal that meerkat, tia!)

Glam - perhaps put him down for more naps than you think and you might be surprised. Like if he usually takes 2 naps, just try 3 even if the last one is a tiny catnap right before bath/bedtime - or try extending his nap by shushing him down when he wakes up to see if he drops off again. Not that I'm trying to give advice to someone who's a baby more than 3 months before me, but it's worth a go! Don't wanna speak too soon as we're only on Day 3, but it seems to have really really helped for us.

He used to sleep a lot, so much I asked the HV if it was normal because he was goin 12hours at night plus a good 4-5 hours in naps during the day. Now it's much less at night and 2 x 90min naps. I'll see if I can get him to go down more today but I'm finding as he gets older he's sleeping less during the day
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

I second the xtra knap idea. Ive been told to put bubs down for an hr-90mins in the morning the same after dinner then a 1/2hr cat knap at least an hr before bed. he does seem to have settled quite a bit in the night he has gone from waking 5-6 times to waking once for a feed. Of course all this is easier said than done when the other 2 wont keep their gobs shut and are constantly waking him up i'm so glad they are back at school next week :-)

Hi Fitz, i think you're right :o I love that you tell me this, i need it. If i had a big circle of friends and family i wouldn't be giving him as much thought. I suppose i should make the most of the fact he's not here playing daddy, the fact he's 120 miles away means less confusion for everyone concerned!

I said i've done the hard part alone (well, as in the getting everything ready for her arrival, then sleepless nights, adjusting) and he was like, it's only 9 weeks.  </stabface>
    set him on fire panic.gif
Do you have Homestart in your area? they could help you feel nice n supported :D

The snow is thawing here, glad really because I don't want school to be closed tomorrow.

Anybody know where I can get some cheap but nice looking boxes to put C's toys in in the living room? Preferably with a lid, but doesn't matter if not :)

PP, I got 3 pink and 3 blue ones from asda for £10. Plain plastic with clear lids. But they have trug buckets (rhyno ones) for £3, no lid though.

And also woe! The atilla dress is now officially too wee. Last day of wearing it (its on now like). Sob!
