Yeah, how the hell do you get gravy in a SWEET round dough based snack (called a DOUGHNUT!!!!)
  • Cleared Asda Warrington of clothes for Katie - she sneaked in a black teenager bra which I found when unloading the trolley, I do remember her measuring one up against me whilst I was hunting down PJ's!

Debates: duvet, batches or barms, fairy cake.

We had a door bouncer for Katie which she loved to spin and bounce in, we had my mums old bouncer so no entertainment on it, then when the dog chewed that one we were given one with toy bar which she loved.

Grandma bought her some maracas today so she is currently dancing round the living room in her fairy dress shimmying like crazy.

    question
If you asked for a round of sarnies, would you expect 1 or 2 slices of bread ???
I would never ask for a rounds of sarnies, a round of toast is 2 slices but I'd just ask for a sandwich or 2 sandwiches :D

buttie - 1 slice folded in half with loads of butter <
    SEE!!!
piece - 2 slices with filling cut in half
sandwich - like a piece but cut diagonally and therefore - posh
round of - 2 slices of whatever, usually toast here.

oh and a gravy is not a sugar do'nut no matter where you come from cos that is just plain WEIRD!
elle, you know the doughnuts that have no jam in them and a hole in the middle ?? Well in actual fact, they are called gravy rings !!
!!!!!! gravy has no place being mentioned near doughnuts!

:rotfl: MM, you are definitely on your own with the whole doughnut/gravy thing! :p (are you rounding up Carla and MrsMoc for NI support? ;))
  • buttie and sandwich is interchangeable both contain 2 slices of bread.

    A round = 2 slices.

Gravy shouldn't be anywhere near doughnuts.
