We had a party for DS2's first, hired a hall and what not. Was a disaster. He was too little. With DS1 we had a party at home, was a lovely sunny day and it was just family and a few friends, was a great day.
What about a sit and ride for him? Always popular at that age. Or a push along bike/trike that can be used inside?
Anyway, I need to get to bed. Night all who are still up! xx0 -

Hi  Not been posting much this week, have read a bit though but mainly from phone in bed as it helps me sleep
(not that you all bore me or anything
).
So my half-hearted lurking means i don't remember much....
G&A - i had it taken off me when pushing with DS, they said i had to concentrate on pushing and also told me off for my involuntary grunting lol. So i was pleased (understatement) that at my HB with Amber she didn't take it off me at all. Pretty sure i might have scratched her eyes out if she did.
Periods - Keep noticing a lot of you with older babies saying you're getting you're first/second periods. I'm SO jealous and v.upset because for me it's been:
Birth - 2 weeks - post birth bleeding
5 weeks - period (5 days)
7.5 weeks - period? (ongoing)
NOT impressed!!! Still bf'ing completely too, haven't given anymore formula since that 1 carton.
Birthdays - Can't remember what i got DS for his 5th, but for that Xmas he got a VSmile Cyber and i wouldn't recommend cos he played with it twice and i sold it on eBay recently. Usually gets stuff like Lego, anything Cars (disney pixar) and he collects the die-cast and has since 2006 and still plays with them!
It's his 7th in April and i want to get him a 18" bike cos he's getting big for his 16", but i might ask his grandma to go halves with me on it cos the one i've seen is £120 and he got a bloody Wii at Xmas - i usually spend about £100, and then £50 on bdays. But i saw this on Grabbit and it's waiting to be collected £15, so he's getting that too.
I went OTT with DS on his 1st few bdays and will not be doing it for Amber. But knowing me i will end up getting more to make up for the fact its so close to Xmas, but for the first 5 years i might work that to my advantage cos it will get painfully expensive when she's older!!
Nothing much happening here, basic summary if you're interested:
Amber hasn't poo'd since Monday but is trumping a lot, nothing but skidders in her nappy though. How long was it til Finn eventually poo'd and had you given him any water/fruit juice? (or anyone else with same issue). She's whining good style though and doing my head in.
Had our 6-8 week check this week and she's all perfick and stuff, will get her weighed on Mon though cos he didn't and its been 2 weeks. I thought the check was for both of us but they said i have to make a separate post-natal appt with a nurse.
Noisy neighbours still cruisin' for a bruisin'. Rang council on them again cos it's hacking me off, feel very two faced seeing as we were back on 'speaking terms' but i don't care anymore.
Yellow men are finally finished in the garden. Although they've put one of my big plant pots in Noisy's garden and i want it back
I have the matching one!! I asked yellow man to retrieve it for me and he said he would but didn't and now the fences are all up
How petty am i? But tis MINE!!! And i made them re-erect my washing line pole, cheeky !!!!!! had just left it sprawled on the garden.
This is about as exciting as my life gets
