Weezl or SM, or anyone else around that does cake with stork - I've got a cake in the oven which I've made with stork, and the outside is lovely and brown and cooked but the inside is still runny and not even very hot!! Is this normal? I've made it a zillion times, but never with stork before :(

Em stork shouldn't make any difference to how it cooks  is your oven playing up?

meant to be fantastic now, all nice facs and plenty of room for dads as well. friend had their LO there and said it was much better than Fairfield (where i had K and she had her prev 2). although with the care i got on the wards i have to say they were fab too.

bolton are doing a whole new maternity area which will be 'state of the art' when its finished next year.

have to say though, i doubt there is one mat unit/hospital that doesnt have bad reports.... all depends on your own experience

I am starting to wonder, cos something didnt cook properly last week come to think of it, boo!

I turned it right down cos I didnt want it to burn, so hopefully it should set soon :( really dont need it to go wrong, my family are coming to visit from Kent (about 3 hours away from here) tomorrow, and its part of the pudding selection!!

Saw ONEM last night, have to say I wanted to slap that girl round the face after about 5 minutes, and laughed really hard when her mum told her off "you're making a fool of yourself!" "but it huuuuuuuuurts" then the MW comes in "yes dear, you're only 3cm, please calm down!" *cue massive strop and a epidural* :rotfl:
That woman moaning about not getting her lunch annoyed me too, but to be fair I probably would have been worse if they'd forgotten me :o

Mel, are you about? I saw the cow cup in Sainsburys today and thought of you and Kai ;) does he like it?

Go impatient Kester! Are you sure he was breech and your MW wasn't just confusing butt-feel and head-feel?

Did you get your birthing pool sorted out?
