  • Caz - it took a few nights for Katie to get the idea that getting in and out of bed wasn't fun as mummy would just put her straight back into bed.

  • Morning Weezl! How are you feeling this mornin?

I may have beaten you this morning - have been awake since 4:20 (well 4:18 by my bedside clock) when some $%^& rang our buzzer . It doesn't ring for very long, so by the time I got there it had cut off, and I didn't even get the satisfaction of teeling them to get knotted.

Someone else obviously let them in though, as they spent the next hour banging on our neighbours door and gave up about when Izzy woke up. I think they might have fallen asleep on the doormat as they tried again a few mins ago. I wish I was brave enouh to o tell them off at half 4 this morning, but it sounded like they were drunk, and Idecided I was better off out of it.

Never mind. We are up eating bread and watching little robots :)

:)well you didn't beat me, I've been up since 3, but I think you win anyway cos it sounds horrid:(. ((((((((hugs)))))))))

How I am feeling-wise, hard to say online. I'm not worried at all about the DVT, but I'm in bits about work again. Since monday (there's been another setback) I've not slept more than 4 hrs a night since. After everything going wrong in November it's been a catalogue of disasters and now I'm just super-shaky about it. I keep waking up and crying. I cried in the hospital and the nurses thought I didn't like the injections, but it's not that. It's just that I don't have the right brain to take on a leave/pay issue when I'm not an expert and I'm alone (I just mean there's only one me and a whle big institution) . Rang ACAS, they can't advise on individual circs, no-one available at the union... you know, that kind of thing :).

Anyhow, I've been feeling pretty desperate.

I've just made myself sound like a right moron haven't I? I should just resign rather than being one of those people who moans but doesn't sort themselves out. I just don't know how to tell DH he can't finish his PHD cos I'm too weak to cope with the real world of work.

I'm sorry I've said too much.
