 I know someone else reported the bad mum thing and got a reply saying it DID belong on the moneysaving in families board smiley-confused005.gif and that BGs do a very good job or somthing along those lines *sigh*

Well, I've invited MSE powers that be into a dialog about the remit of a BG so we'll see.....
  • Oh - re breastpads, I have a big box pretty much full. Probably not worth fairy post, but next time we meet up I can bring them with me to pass on.

A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...

Next time I'd like a VBAC, preferably with doctors and midwives who know what they're doing on hand and the same lovely anaesthetist as the first time.

And on that note I am off to bed to curl up with my favourite people and generally bask in the love. Goodnight everyone :)

Can you hear the screaming? That was me lol I bet I scared the other ladies!
  • They wouldnt pay for the cost of flights or accomodation for anyone to come with me. We used to be offered a creche facility, but this has been cut. And to be honest, I couldnt leave Jas behind and just take Dylan, I really dont think that would be fair, and I cant take her out of school

Reason for me saying it is I couldn't handle the stress of a panicked "this baby must come out now" situation again. I don't know if I can handle pregnancy again yet (the thought that there was something undetected going on), never mind the pressure of a birth where if they say "now" they mean I'm the one that has to do it. Does that make me really lazy? It's not that I don't want to do the hard work, it's that I can't handle doing it under pressure knowing what happened when they didn't get Rhys out quick enough when it was the pros doing it. Make any sense?

Why is the blonde one being monitored? Sorry, entertaining a grumpy Rhys too.

I hope my saying I wanted an unassisted birth was out of place?

It makes sense why you want a planned c-section. I want to avoid the panic, stress, threats (push now or I'll cut you) and things, so I'd love a relaxed, unmedicated birth. I read a lot about the cascade of intervention, and I suppose I still feel like it was because of me that it all spiralled. Not sure they'd have been happy had I refused the induction though.

That is interesting - what would have happened had I refused the induction? (I had pre-eclampsia).
