I've not mixed anything yet! I am going to get him some brocolli tomorrow - does it puree OK?

So far he's had Apple, Pear, Banana, Sweet Potato and Carrot. I'm going to get him Brocolli, Parsnip & butternut Squash tomorrow - once he's had something once and been OK I will start mixing!

You have to steam/cook the Broccoli to stupidly soft but, yes, it then purees nicely. One of those "wetter" purees, so watch the added liquid. I tried to puree Green Beans today, but couldn't get them to work, stayed too stringy.

Andrew's had Apple, Carrot, Broccoli and today Potato. He did have Banana once, but didn't like it! (Takes after his Grandfather apparently).

Hiya carla, we missed you ;)

bounty told me today he is over 40 cm long . I'm gonna pack a bag soon too...

He's very kicky, but less hiccups than ferg and shorter fingernails so far. That sounds weird but I could feel ferg's fingernails when he swooshed his fist in front of his head to try to suck his thumb.

    Is this TMI? :o

awh, thanks for missing me! I missed all u guys too!

woaw, no not TMI for me anyway! I didnt feel stuff like that with christopher or katie!

Angela - so do you steam it and then mash it?
I tend to steam stuff til its dead soft and then blend it.

Gemma - how early were you induced? I didn't think you were due so soon.

Anyone had a LO who just keeps crying in their sleep?
J cries in his sleep and it only stops if I pop his dummy in, he's doing it now and only been asleep 40mins, he did it 4 times last night and also does it when he naps, he's been doing it for the last couple of days. I thought it might be teething but not sure!

Confusingly I was due tomorrow, but got induced at 37 weeks exactly, aparently that was safer then leaving her to cook a little longer.

So glad she is here safely with no apparent ill effects of what happened over the last 8 weeks
