On Friday Holly learned how to actually jump herself on her Jumperoo and has been loving it since then! She has been jumping for about an hour now, and for the second day in a row has falled asleep mid jumps. It's like the film Speed. She has her eyes shut and her body is slumped, but she still keeps doing the odd little jump as if she can't stop he he. Better take her up for a nap now. And maybe have a [STRIKE]nap[/STRIKE] shower myself whilst I have the chance.

sm - great news about tara DGD
The fluffy comment was made by Mrs T - I think it is in response to the reason why she left here because she isn't fluffy enough. I.e her original comment was very direct.A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

That was exactly Alex yesterday. Has J had any teeth come through yet.
One of Alex's bottom ones broke through the gum about a week ago, but there looks like there are so many more just waiting to pop through. Just wish he's get them all out and over with. Its so horrible, when you just cant do anything for them.0 -
Why does DH always assume that when Tegan is crying in the evening she is hungry?! I fed her from 6.45 -7.45 last night (like I usually do) to make sure she is well topped up for the night ahead. I then put her down and ran a lovely hot bath to help me feel better with my crappy cold knowing full well that T wouldn't need feeding. About little while later Tegan had been crying for some time DH said he was going to get some formula as she was obviously hungry... I thought I'll let him get on with it as I'll want him to look after her on his own in the future. But 10 mins later she was still crying, so I got out the bath to see what was going on and he had used my emergency carton of milk that I keep in my change bag (7oz) (rather than using the instant formula which is cheaper and he could have just made 2 oz) and was trying to force her to take it. I took her out his arms gave her a couple of pats she burped and went to sleep so I put her back in the cot and got back in my bath (it was vv hot
) A little while later she started crying again just as I was getting out the bath. Once again DH after trying to stop her crying for a few mins decided she was hungry and tried to feed her out the bottle again which was distressing her even more. Once again I felt I had to intervene and exactly the same thing happened! Burp then slept.
I then commented to DH that he had wasted my carton of 7oz when he could of just made 2oz up with formula. Suffice to say he wasn't happy with me and said that he wasn't going to be stuck with a crying baby whilst he had to make up more formula because 2oz wasn't enough. I felt really bad cause he dos so much but its like he cant cope with her crying which is when I need the most help and will be worried that when I do manage to go out he will be trying to force her to eat!!
So does anyone have any idea how I can diplomatically explain to DH that sometimes its wind, or a need to be swaddled or just because she is tired at the moment? I don't think I can do anything diplomatically! He seems to think I always go in and feed her when she cries whereas I tend not to feed her unless she is still waking up crying 3 hours later.
Oh god I feel like such a whinger! Feel free to ignore.....
My OH was the same, kept asking me to feed Erin every time she cried until I just shouted at him, 'she doesn't need feeding find some other way to settle her!' Quite often the problem was that he was busy watching tele while looking after her and not paying her enough attention

not yet but his top 2 and bottom 2 are very prominent under his gum and he has a lump on his gum nearer the back which looks like a tooth.
He won't take anymore than 3ozs per bottle - he has now fallen asleep cos he's worn out from crying but if I put him down he cries

SS thanks for the advice on easy jet, might have to ring them to see what to do with car seats. Hope you feel better soon and that your OH will be ok.....
Jenny - Balham Leisure Centre do parent & baby swim time on Tues afternoons from 2 -3:45pm. I know you were asking about swimming! Tomorrow will be my 1st time so I can report back if it's nice
Thanks Aless, I rang Tooting as Bruno suggested but the woman I spoke to said I would just have to go to the normal family sessions. I wont be able to go tomorrow as Erin has her second set of jabs but let me know how you get on

I've read the other thread too and TBH it seems to be getting a bit childish. Each to their own, whether they BF or FF for whatever reasons. Reading that thread actually makes me feel guilty for being proud that I'm still BFing at 7 months, even though I have no issues with however anyone wants to feed their baby

pp nobody should be made to feel guilty on whatever they decide as parents ... i think that was suppose to be the point ..
if your anything like me you feel guilty enough about everything else as parents .. in my case lack of money and not being able to do things .. feeding is not an issue unless jayden starts getting fussy x
