I know! They pick things up so quickly, he was even staring at the cup when he wanted a drink, genius boy:rotfl:
How long did you give him one meal a day before going to two?

    Week 1 - 1 meal
    Week 2 & 3 - 2 meals (lunch & Tea although lunch was porridge)
    Week 4 - 3 meals

Just had a poopslopion - we very rarely have a leaky nappy! Gonna leave him on a towel with his nappy off for a while - he'll be going to bed in a bit anyway!

    Oh my flicking god.

Food finally got here, they've forgotten my sauce and DS's pizza looks like it's been minced, the stupid driver must have been juggling with it. Morons

I hate that! do you order from there often? Worth complaining?

Just picked J up to put a towel under him and he peed everywhere! :rotfl:
He is now lying on his changing mat with a towel under him but he wriggles so much he's now off the towel with his feet in his hands and his bum in the air

For the record (just to muscle in on a weaning discussion), Andrew's still on one meal a day, I haven't started giving him breakfast yet (I'm not that organised). But he's still only 5 months, so we're deliberately taking a softly softly approach.

Has anyone pureed any meat yet? (as opposed to giving a meat-mix shop jar)?

I just followed the weaning guide that I got sent by HIPP & C&G which said simialr.

Not pureed meat yet - am waiting til he's a bit older, just had the meaty jars the last couple of days)

  • Nightmare, Ello has mastered the stairs 2 whole flights, even the difficult ones up to the attic, I could have done without that for a while!

:T:rotfl:Why are stairs SO exciting? As soon as the living room door is open Benjamin races for the stairs! I have had to stop leaving anything on there to be taken upstairs (everyone does this right?) because Benjamin just flings it all down to the bottom on his way up *rolleyes*

Hugs, MFD, content yourself with the thought of how fabulous a mummy you are

    Thank you.

Happy Birthday Annabel, Hope the hungry caterpillar didn't eat all the cake.

This made me properly LOL - good job I am on my own!

Can't believe all the ones who were just in front of me on the pregnancy club are now starting to have birthdays.

I know! Only 5 weeks here and less for you (3?) are you having a party? I am still undecided as to what to do.

I just threw it in the blender and hoped!!

A question for those with crawlers/walkers/self feeding babies/older kids - I have had to start bathing Benjamin more frequently now he is getting more dirty but I am still trying to keep it to a minimum because I don't want to bath him every night. What are the other mums (that don't believe in nightly baths) doing? And does anyone have any tips for giving baby a good wash? :o

Also - does anyone else have a baby who drinks bath water and should I be stopping him? At the moment I just find it really funny, he sticks his face in the water to get a mouthful and then comes up spluttering! We already have to have 2 sponges so he can have one to suck and I can have one to wash him.

MFD - I just wipe face/neck/hands with a flannel and stick a new babygrow on. I've got a bath water drinker too.
