I have a Nikon D70 digital SLR. I upgraded to a D200, but didn't get on with it, so sold it on to my brother :)

There's a setting mostly for shooting flowers and plants which saturates the image with lots of colour and makes the background very soft, and I think it works really well for images of children.

One day I'd love to do childrens photography, but unposed ones IYSWIM? Rather than those kinds you get at the schools that can look a bit staged, with the children doing their 'best' smile rather than genuinely having fun. :)

If I ever was going to re train and start on my own, thats exactly what id like to do. I use a normal compact at the moment but was looking to get a DSLR. After looking about i think im going to go for this bridge camera http://www.jessops.com/online.store/products/76476/show.html, I think it would be sufficient for my needs but i always love the effect you have on your photos of Fergie x

    Becles..thats a lovely photo of Charlotte x

You're both right, obviously, in which case you back up what I thought! I wouldnt be happy to take him anyway TBH, why would I want someone else looking after my baby when he's a bit poorly?

Although I am a little worried about how I'll cope with his bouncyness if I still have this headache tomorrow :o

Anyone know about student loans? The loan will be £4600, and I need to take it to get childcare paid. But i don't need it (lucky me). But what do I do with it? I was going to save it and pay it back at the end of the year, but MSE says I should clear debt or pay it towards the mortgage... I'm stuck. I'll need more if I go to Uni...
