Anyone know about student loans? The loan will be £4600, and I need to take it to get childcare paid. But i don't need it (lucky me). But what do I do with it? I was going to save it and pay it back at the end of the year, but MSE says I should clear debt or pay it towards the mortgage... I'm stuck. I'll need more if I go to Uni...
go on holiday - thats what i did with mine!! lol.
    Carla-Farla!! :)

Did anyone do the Vertbaudet £12 off grabbit? I ordered some free jeans at £11, I'm assuming they cancelled my order cos I've not had anything since the original order confirmation email :( ah well, nothing ventured and all that!
I did, but I ordered an £18 outfit so they still got some money out of me. I got confo emails, and the goods turned up two days later.

Tia - I'd look at putting it in a high interest account or on the mortage, which ever has the higher interest is Martins rule isn't it?

ETA: Just remembered - there was the cutest little 10 month old girl at gymbabes, with a proper dark brown bob haircut! And her name was Rita. I'm keeping that name in my memory for next time. :rotfl:

whats this about questions having to be in bold??? am confussled

Because we all chat so much, and things can get missed, and people's noses can get put out of joint ... Someone came up with the idea that questions/advice should be in bold, fairy notices and thanks can be in pink, and news/announcements about babies can be in red. That way they stand out when skimming down the page.

    blimey this thread is chatty!

On the subject of poo's they are very smelly and yellow and happen daily, although she does sometimes seem to strain a bit. I swear to god she is smiling already too, especially when daddy is holding her.

Here is a little piccy at 3 days old, she was a little jaundiced but that has all gone now. She looks different already and is getting really chubby chops!

On the subject of counselling after the birth, I think it would be worth it, my hospital offers 'time to talk' so you can discuss your birth/ pregnancy and any issues that arise, I will definitely being using it cos the later stages of my pg and the birth didn't quite go to plan.

Does anyone else need to give an extra feed in the afternoon? we are usually 3-4 hours but late pm/ early evening we seem to need to give an extra feed.

Not sure if anyone is near me- I'm in Norfolk

    Hope everyone is all OK
