  • Ooo - I like the look of that! We have some of theUsbornes Touchy Feely Books here, you know the 'That's Not My XXX' ones and they are a great hit with Benjamin.

Is that the x-rated version? :rotfl:

Is it sad that I'm more impressed by this than by you being related to whoever that person was?

I don't think so :D this was actually me, the other is a very distant relative who I have never met *shrug smiley* I have other familial claims to fame too they are just not all that relevant!

 Eek! We have been building up to this. I think Liam has been going since october went uder the water for the first time just before christmas and then did it twice this week. We start with pouring a palm full of water over babies head with a command, then build up to a cup and aj ug before they actually go under the water. The aim is for baby to learn the command and associate that with water/getting wet so they are prepared.
Is it a lesson you go to or just and Mums & baby session.

ETA: Sorry, don't mean to offend. I just found it strange to go straight to dunking IYSWIM

it was just a session. I asked how to go about doing it and she said to blow in his face really hard so he holds his breath & then dunk him under very quickly. He is used to water on his face but think it was the shock!

Nothing much.. Feeling crappy with a stuffy nose (just annoyed I can't breathe really!) and nowt much to say :)

Gah.. kinda! Craig's taking both off cos we're going away that weekend (Harrogate for my birthday), so he's taking the Friday off to spend with Rhys and I'm off out with the girlies in the evening, then Monday morning is the blood test with the crappy nurse.

Are you thinking of coming to me, or me coming to meet you on north side of Bridge? I don't mind either way :) We'll sort something.. :D

Oh, is that what it was?! I just caught the end and wondered why she was crying!
aww hope easy breathing comes soon!
I'm happy to meet you anywhere :) whatever you can manage, but if its a right pita don't worry, we'll fit something in eventually.

Apparently Hubby is in recovery. I am assuming that means that everything went okay, otherwise I would have got a phonecall? The ward said to call back at about 5...

I hate this whole hospital lark. I don't 'do' feeling helpless :o

EDIT - YAY FOR BREATHING AND CRYING BABY GIRL!!!!
