Thanks
the trousers are very MSE cos you can make about 10 pairs from a £1.60 ikea fleece and still have left overs that are a useful sizeThe elastic was free cos I used DH's waistband of disintegrating boxers :rotfl:
I have a red fleece now and after making both boys a christmas stocking I think I might make red fleecy trousers. Until 3ish I feel I can inflict these strange fashion choices on them
SB, don't stay broody, join me and Mel in PG land

Definately looking and applying for jobs but as DH and I share a car (read as he uses it to work and I'm allowed when he doesn't need it!:)) It does make some work options more difficult but we've decided that we'll get a second car if I get a job that needs one.
Also got a leaflet through the door yesterday re childcare etc and it says if household income is less than £20k per yr and you're not working them you could get free childcare while you train and learn for work. So I might try to call them and find out what training/learning is included. I can volunteer at local childrens centre, schools etc but can't afford childcare to do so. Or if it is only college courses that are part or full time.
We've also booked Reece's christening for 3 weeks on sunday so frantically trying to organise outfits for DS1, DS2 (almost there) and me on a tight budget:heart2: Charlie born Aug 2007 :heart2: Reece born May 2009

Give any formula, water, babyrice? Those things can mean periods return sooner. If i remember rightly, co-sleeping and babywearing can extend the time before a period returns.
Thanks all. Yeah she uses a dummy occasionally, i've been encouraging it lately - i'm a reformed dummy snob :rotfl:. She doesn't usually sleep so long, it's usually about 4 hours on a good night, so last night was exceptional.
Haven't expressed yet, or given a bottle, she's only ever had BM no water or anything. We usually co-sleep but not on purpose, usually cos i've put her in my bed to feed and fallen asleep :rotfl: If i'm still awake at the end of feed i put her in the basket.
Aw i'm gutted tbh, i hoped i'd not get it for a good few months, i hate it!0 -
Claire i was in Tesco the other day and the sale rack was full of cute lovely suits, although they were grey/silvery. Although i have no idea what a sibling would wear to a Christening cos i've never been to one0

Oh, is this what you use Ikea fleeces for? I chopped one up to make blankets for the moses basket and cot! But I still have one (pale blue) untouched, I might save that for trousers for Andrew in the future.:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls
