mel thats your choice but she asked my opinion and then started justifing her choice .. i think if your trying to justifiy your choice you're not happy with it yourself (also just to add there was added salt on the chips ... too much salt scares me ever since that baby died of it a few years back) x
Well done you on getting started
Did I miss the post from Mel?
I know what you mean about the salt stuff but wasn't that baby proven to have been killed by a massive intake of salt, not just a normal amount? Wasn't the mother using salt to poison the baby?
Having said that I don't let DSS put salt on his food and would never dream of giving Benjamin anything with added salt or crisps!!:j:j (whilst puckering up)
How far is it for you?
My plan is to be extremely organised, and be ready to leave as soon as i've dropped Liv off at school. So I should be there for quarter to ten so I can do an hours shopping before meeting.
Who was making a list of who's coming? How many are we up to?
ETA: How rude of me. Good morning everyone.
It is 70 miles each way for me...but some b00ger (;)) has put roadworks all the way up the M6  I will be passing through 6 of my own schemes, they are gonna love me going through - I am bound to either be on the phone or making notes to 'discuss' with people with on Wednesday about what I see!please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

Just wanted to apologise for not keeping up with the thread, not really got time at the moment.
Still busy busy busy but having a quiet day today as I've got a tummy bug.
Is it the basingstoke meet this week?
Hi feelie- hope you feel better soon! There seems to be a lot of it about at the moment. I'm definitely still up for Basingstoke on Friday. What time are your trains? Shall we go for a bit of lunch or something?My_Fathers_Daughter wrote: »

If it's the same story I'm thinking of, it was near me! In the end it was proved in court that the baby had a kidney problem which meant high salt levels, but nowhere near lethal to a normal baby, killed him/her.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Morning all
I have just gone into town and bought Dylan a new buggy !!
Got this one but in grey with a red and white apple design seat and matching grey footmuff.
It is last years so got it for £109, but is almost identical to the new one !!
I love it
Hope you are all well xxThe two best things I have done with my life

Hmm - I guess that none of us other than the Premmies who have lots of tests and stuff done would necessarily know at this stage if our babies had kidney problems.
I try to strike a balance between slap-dash, common sense and full-on paranoia!! I certainly don't take the view of 'give him some crisps or a macdonalds because he will enjoy it' but I don't mind him having the odd slice of pizza and some chip shop type chips either (by that I mean not fries). If we are out eating and I have chips I stick 4 or 5 in a bowl for Benjamin before I put salt and vinegar on mine.

Trains arrive every fifteen minutes, so I'm very flexible. And excited!
Lunch would be good, Festive Place is right by the Train station, and I think parking would be okay for you?

They can't fine you more than the amount of tax you owe.
I'm 99% sure I owe nothing because I only earnt £8 :rotfl:
Nah - Craig doesn't want anymoreOn the pill and AF was here last week so def not!
Been having awful headaches and broken sleep for a while, and I'm so tired all the time but restless. Had cold symptoms hanging around since October, my skin is dry with itchy patches and my nails are all broken. My mouth keeps going dry and now I've got horrid sores forming on my mouth. I thought they were cold sores so the chemist sold me their version of Zoivrax cream, but it hasn't helped at all. I think I need putting downMy_Fathers_Daughter wrote: »
Day booked off work tomorrow!
Just need to work out how to get to TC by 11am  when it is an hour and a half drive and check out where is the best place to park for Nandos.
And prepare for all the kissing0 -
Hi, glad you are still keeping busy but boo for yucky tummy bug. Is Toby ok?
Good morning all.
I love your new Avvy. How are you doing?
Toby is okay, he has been sick twice in the past couple of days, but is happy enough. It was a new experience bending over the toilet whilst having a baby standing with his hands on my back patting me!Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
