Susan, thanks for the fab post. Homeschooling is something I would seriously consider if we're in that sort of position at that time. I had some good friends growing up that were homeschooled and was always jealous of them.

right well just cleaning my kitchen turned in to tiding the whole of downstairs .. at least one less thing to do tomorrow .. now sat enjoying a beer x

I didn't realise how reliant I am on OH either, it's been really hard with out him esp because Ed is really clingy, he isn't happy unless he can see me and even then usually wants holding which makes cooking hard so we've eaten really badly and I'm sick of it.

not sure we have been before and they loved it but they had sledges for the little ones which was better!

I have taken Jack swimming on my own to a pool with no baby changing facilities at all! There's an experience!

I had to put him on a foot high marble table top, get myself changed then him, hold him while filling locker, having a wee and take towels to pool.
THEN get out pool, try and shower Jack and myself, dry Jack and get him dressed. It was here he started bawling his eyes out - I was wet and cold! Happy days!

Just sorting out a list of stuff to either eBay or Car Boot. I am doing so well at this sorting and decluttering lark! :j

We went to the Aquatec as it was nearest but I have never been there swimming before so had no idea if it was any good. The last time I was there, I was dogging school and it was like the Time Capsule as it was half ice skating. The ice skating bit isn't there any more. Shows how long since I was at school! I think more modern ones will have better facilities. It was modern in it's day, but could do with a refurb. It did have a family changing area and pull down changing thingy for baby, but I didn't feel I could leave her lying on it whilst I put stuff in lockers (even though the lockers were a few feet away). I imagine I would have managed, even if it meant asking one of the attendants to hold H for a minute or something. But as you say, you don't have to when you have OH there.

Maybe we should arrange a skate and swim meet at The Time Capsule, and then all back to mine for lunch ha ha.

Caz, I have family in Glenrothes and Kirkcaldy and a friend in Pitlessie. No idea where Auchterarder is though! Would need to check it on a map.

Glam, that sounds like when I took Finn swimming the other week. I wound up having to lay him on the floor (on a towel, of course) as there was just nowhere else to go! Absolutely freezing, too.
