Yay Tara
:D:D
And SS... Will you have a new flaming shoe shortly? I hope the German Police are as efficient at dealing with harrasment!!
Tia, a few of Aimee's friends have older siblings and it's generally accepted that parents will pay for them to have soft play during a party... Or could you not drop ds2 off at the in laws while to take ds1 then go back to him?A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Have just text my mum for you - she works for local authority early years service training and vetting childminders and running a CM network. xx
Edit - thinking about it logically I may be completely wrong - how would twins be looked after if you couldn't have 2 babies???
Edit - found this CMs are usually only registered for 1 baby but can be registered for 2...please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

thanks
national childminding association in its FAQS says 'usually no more than 1 under 1 year' and OFSTED set it so i wonder if there is a way of checking on ofsted as i dont want to get my hopes up and then not be able to use her.'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
tara - fantastic news :j
SS - what a horrible man! I hope you can do something about it...
jillie - hope the childminder works out
*hugs* to anyone who would like one0 -

this is the lady in question. reading her other details it says none under 1, so i'm confused now...'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -

OFSTED are a funny organisation. My CM had to apply for an exemption to have 4 kids under 5 on 2 afternoons a week (she has a little girl for 3 hours twice a week). And OFSTED wouldn't let her apply until AFTER I had placed Benjamin with her (thereby encouraging her to break the rules) and even when she applied they refused to giver her a decision for 6 weeks (and told her to go away when she chased them earlier).
Luckily I was able to be flexible and MIL picked Benjamin up on those afternoons so there was never a clash until the exemption had been granted but it is just a ridiculous situation.
It may be that she has already looked into it and has been granted an extra baby place.
I would still go an see her, just be prepared and vigilant with your questions.
Sorry - I feel like the harbinger (?) of doom!!
Jillie - the website may not be up to date. They seldom are unfortunately.
Edit - EEK!! There is not supposed to be that much info available to the public!! Did you have her registration number to get you into that much detail??please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
thanks MFD she did mention the word 'variance' so this must mean she is covered.
so fingers crossed she decides to start in may and she can have Kian the days i need and that when we visit we all like each other.
right not going to talk about it now...and try not to think about it!! (slim chance)
just watchim OBEM....this really tugs at the heartstrings'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
Glam she's getting the tooth powders but they don't seem to be working as well ATM. I can see about eight teeth just lurking under her sore little gums
Start making BIL fish out and wash any glass he throws into the bin - preferably keep some nasty liquid waste on hand to cover the bottle before you ask him. He should learn pretty quickly...
Can't help you with the mess at the side of the bed. OH is the sameI just tidy it and mutter furiously under my breath the whole time.
How's Kezia doing Harley?
She seems much better today thanks SS. The exorcist impressions stopped at around 7.30 last night and apart from waking me at 4 with an empty tummy she has been an absolute star today.
Sorry to hear that you neighbour is being a complete knob. If that doesn't qualify for Harrassment I don't know what would!!!:mad:Can't post on FB as DD's OH doesn't want his boss to know yet, but Poppie is currently in an ambulance being transferred to Exeter!!!
Guess where I'm going tonight!
What fantastic news Tara, give her a gentle little hug from me and Kezia. :T:beer::j
Well, we've been to the nice pixiphoto man today. Wow, was Kezia good or what. She posed and smiled and was just perfect the whole time we were there. All designed of course, to relieve mummy of £95. But they are fabby pics and I have a whole wall for them at the top of the stairs. The little ones can be given to Grandma and Grandad, and auntie and uncle with a few spare to put on Mummys desk at work next week. Though I'm not sure they'll arrive in time for that, might have to wait a bit for them.Cross Stitch Challenge member 11 - May challenge well under way
Very proud mummy to Gorgeous baby girl - 29/09/09 :j
Thanks to all who directed me to Quidco - £289.30 since Nov 09 :beer:0 -

Tara, your news made me cry, I am so happy for you all!
I'm just going to pay for DS2 to go in, then they can both have dinner there, I will feed Amber there too and then it's just home and bed. And there is some kung po chicken (or sweet'n'sour) in the freezer for me
BMI, my maternity hospital judges us by looks rather than BMI unless it is over 35. It's a load of crap, same with ideal weight. When I wasn't eating I never went under 10 stone, so how can the say my ideal weight is below a weight I never achieved in my teens when I didn't eat for 2 years? (didn't drink alcohol or full fat drinks either so no liquid calories)
I think a more accurate judge is if you can do a set period of exercise without struggling rather than weights and dress sizes. One day I may campaign for that!
Plus, women over 20 just don't have flat tummies, and nobody can tell me different!0
