You mention Paragon loans, (sorry I thought it was Pinnacle going by your other post) lol, in this case Paragon should supply you with the details of the policy which should include the Insurers details.

Hi,

Yes that was my mistake, I wrote Pinnacle instead of Paragon.

Blimey, I have been looking at that many pieces of paper today that I have lost the plot! lol

So do you suggest I write to Paragon or phone them? Given that my loan was in 2004 it may take some digging around?

Do i just tell them that I had a loan in 2004 and was wondering who the ppi was with?

sorry to keep asking so many questions. (This is before I even start filling in my FOS form! lol)

Hi

Me again!...... Right, just found the Loan Payment Protection which was life only and only in my husbands name hence it being a joint loan in both of our names. It only covered us for 5 years even though our loan was for 10 years.

It says that we were insured with Norwich Union Life & Pensions Limited. A member of the Aviva Group.

Now what do I do? Do I write directly to Norwich Union or go to the FOS? If I go to Norwich Union what kind of letter do I send? one of Martin's templates or one of my own?

This one seems rather complicated.

lol not to worry, yes I would definately put it in writing.

If you have the account number for when Click sold you this write the account number on the letter, this will make it easier for them to track any info down on your account.

And ask away that's what we are here for lol.:D;)

Cool.........:T:T, right then so you write to Norwich Union then on this, with help from the template letter from this site if you want to, check the link here:
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/ppi-loan-insurance
You will find templates to help you through this, I would though change in your own words, also to them being the insurer, make them aware that you believe that these are also responsible and give your reasons as you have done above, and anything you find in the above link where there is also a checklist of reasons for mis selling.
Post by recorded delivery.

Found some details here as well, even though it states existing customers, there is a complaints form.
http://www.aviva.co.uk/existing-customers/form/complaint

And the address:
Aviva
PO Box 4
Surrey Street
Norwich
NR1 3NG

And email:
You can email us at helpdesk@aviva.co.uk †. Please include your full name and policy number (if you have one).

Contact phone details:
01603 622200*

They have 8 weeks to respond in full, if they do not uphold in your favour then like most of move this on to the FOS.

Keep us posted so we can help you step by step.;)
Good luck.
