Yippeee....an NSD today :j, my last ones were at the weekend!

That makes it 11 for the month, so even if I manage another spend-free weekend, I will be two short of my target of 15...oh well, it was a short month! :o

DH and DS2 have gone to watch the under 20 match at Kingsholm (Gloucester) tonight, so I can settle down and watch the Wales vs France match on tv. I will knit some more of DH's jumper...he doesn't know I am making it, and his birthday is on the 17th of March, so I have to get a move on if it is to be done in time!!

  • Hi everyone!

NSD number 8 in the bag today! :j I'm especially pleased as it's pay day and I managed to resist any temptation. Two to go...

Well done everyone who has reached their target! :T

Well done everyone who tried - it's been a hard month (and a short one) so any day that's a NSD is a success. :T
  • Well done everyone - we did good this month, we tried our best :T.Still not managed a bonus NSD though. Gotta get one in before the 28th

  • Hi guys

No NSD for me - went to a charity party, so a couple of drinks, some raffle tickets (won some shower gel WHOOO WHOOOO!!!) and a donation. We didn't take part in the auctions as we realised we didn't have anything like enough cash on us. Mind you, why the hell would I have wanted to spend £350 on a Red T-shirt with loads of felt tip writing all over it and advertising a sponsorship deal?

Ah well.....maybe tomorrow. Going out for a meal but maybe the BF is feeling particularly romantic ;)

    Enjoy your weekends

Spent day yesterday as the collection went round for one of the pregnant staff members. Very very unlikely i will hit my target

I know this sounds really mean - but its usually the bloomin collections at work that scupper my NSD's. I get all organised with my lunches etc - then the dreaded envelope arrives! We have so many at work they should just deduct something off my salary every month

    Any thoughts?
How about allocating some money at the start of the month, jintyb, and classing it as a spending day? During the month you can then take money from the "pot" if you need it without it affecting your NSDs - you've already allocated the money as spent anyway. Do you think that might help?
