I think today will be a nsd :) Am not planning on going out except to walk the dog and pick kids up, sans handbag / purse! So should be 2/20  Must try harder - thought I only spent once or twice a week, but this challenge has really made me see how often I dig out my purse :o

  • had a spend today:(

was hoping to not spend until friday, but DH come home last night and drank all the milk (hot chocolates!)

so this morning i had to get milk, however i did get enough to last the weekend and picked up the bits i was planning to get tomorrow. so hopefully, should not need to spend till sunday. (go to my mums on sunday and a shop near by sells 2 litres of milk for 65p - so usually buy a couple - i think i will get 4 this sunday and stock up for the week)!:)

    so still at 2/18....

  • I spent today, and yesterday as well! I bought plasters, a box of Chinese food and hair clips yesterday (I'm growing my hair from a short cut, so it is getting out of control!) and I fell asleep so early last night I didn't prepare my lunch for today, so I bought lunch today as well. Gahh!

  • Hi Folks,

Managed a NSD yesterday, so 2/15 for the month so far.

    Credit Card2 £443.86/£15663.25 (2.8%); Overdraft £0/£2500 (0%)
  • I spent yesterday.

Went out with the ladies from work last night. Yes I have to call them ladies as all of them apart from me and one other are posh. Their office wear is from Jaegar and Laura Ashley.......mine's George, Cheroke, Ebay and sometimes Oxfam.

We went to a rather expensive Indian Restaurant round the corner from work. It was so expensive that Chicken Tikka wasn't on the menu. However I would say that it was the most DELISH indian food I've ever rammed down my throat as fast as I can. I had some vouchers so the price per head wasn't too bad in the end. Really enjoyed the food and company and it was a nice mid-week treat when all I seem to do at the moment is just go home and go to bed (cause I'm so flipping cold and my laptop heats my quilt :D better than a hotwater bottle).

However everyone enjoyed themselves so much that they decided we need to do it monthly. NOOOOOOOOO  this DOESN'T fit in with my budget plan. Have tried to impress on them the advantages of bi-monthly or quarterly............Anyway I was slipped a bunch of vouchers for end of March as I left so that's one good thing.

    Today is a NSD :T

yay @ curlygirl for the vouchers, that's something at least..
i've managed nsd 3 today, fighting off the lure of the reduced rack in the lunchtime supermarket dash (for work supplies so not a spend) :)

2 NSDs so far this week! :j
I was hoping to make tomorrow one, but if we don't get the Mini back this afternoon (it failed its MOT today, something wrong with the brakes), I won't be able to do a F&V shop before 5, so I will have to do it tomorrow. Got a Mr T delivery at lunch-time today, £111.69, but should do us for most of Feb...I hope! At least it looked like a lot this time..despite having lots of meat (all on offer). It's when there's booze that the costs soar...DH will have to eke out what vino is left from Christmas!

Right, off to slice and freeze 3 of the 4 loaves of bread I made last night, and write the labels for the 10 jars of marmalade I also made yesterday...a very productive day. Then I need to walk the dog, but waiting to hear back from the garage about the car before I go...so I can do a bit more cross-stitching while I wait!

Second NSD for me today even though I had porridge from the canteen! The trick is to go with someone who more than likely ends up buying it for you, it was only 79p but still saved me buying it!
