OV pains have started. :( DH still working and will be too tired when he gets home :(. How long so you have from OV pains to be fertile?

I got my first peak today so I figure I've today/tomorrow (although it did only give me one high before this peak)

Still not home and no sign of leaving and he's 40 mins drive away.:(

I so wanted to DTD on both peaks this month but no chance. Feel so sad. I know he doesn't want to be at work and would rather be home but why o why is it always at the wrong time? *tear rolls down cheek* :(

Hugs fantafan - I know what it's like. Just spoken to OH who's over 300 miles away - ok it's not my fertile time but I'm lonely and emotional and just want him here. Have cried my way through the week since I've known he's going away again (should be used to it by now - he's been away every week since last August and home more recently).

Its sent to try us! Fingers crossed for morning jiggy? ;)

Fanta (((hugs))) it's so difficult when you plan it and it doesn't work out especially when it's peak but there is always tomorrow x

Ddebski - did you look at the puppy?

Thanks Catt. I just hope he comes home. Often he'll stay in a hotel if it's too late or he's too tired. If that's the case I might drive there so can guarantee it or at least get a chance. There'd be more of a chance than if we're not together.

Seeing as my last cycle was stupidly long I don't think FF is going to ask me to poas for about 6 weeks - so when should I start doing this (on the basis I 'should' have a standard cycle from now on) - from day 8? Once or twice a day?
With IC OPK, I'd test from CD8, twice a day in the afternoon & evening. CBFM will probably ask you from CD9:)
it really helps to know that there are others out there who feel the same as me as we ride the ttc rollercoaster each month.

Tell me about it, I've even started reading from the beginning to try and pick up any hints or tips people have mentioned along the way. It's weird when you're reading threads from January/ February of people ttc and in their signature they have their due date, so you know they were successful after their posts, it's kind of like being able to see into the future in a back to front sort of way if that makes sense!!:D

Does anyone have any thoughts on the best position to lie in after DTD, as I always thought on your back with hips raised and legs in the air, but I read earlier of someone who lies in foetal position?
