Hi fantafan - Was on depo for years, went on cerazette pill in Jan 2008 (i think) as we wanted to start TTC after we got married (July 2009). Had LOTS of probs with cysts on cerazette but they wouldn't take me off of it until i had all clear from pre-cancerous cells (talk about bad timing...!)
Came off pill in April 2010. Cyst probs have stopped :) and been having periods ever since, just really short 'cycles'
Really want to get my body sorted and back to 'normal' before we start actively TTC. I am going to keep a diary of AF, etc now just so I can chart and see if they are getting any longer!
Oh the joys of being a woman...!

CD27 for me. 8 or 9 DPO - BFN, but also no sign of AF. Just waiting. I'll be really hacked off if AF does arrive. Still faint cramps, lower abdominal, and weird burning, b o o b s (see what I did there?!).

Bit of limbo at the moment.

Debs - I wonder who'll get an outcome (hopefully a good one!) first..?!

  • I have a funny story for all you ladies!!!

    Picture the scene:-

Your in your bedroom with DH starting to get in the mood for BDing and you hear a strange noise, you forget about it and carry on until it becomes louder and sounds more like scratching!!!
You tell DH to concentrate and stop making silly noises when he tells you the same thing, suddenely you both jump up saying in unison 'if its not you and its not me, what is it????'

Well that was me and DH on Monday night and pretty much last night!!! Think we have a mouse living in the flat, in my wardrobe of all places, I can't sit still at the thought of it all over my clothes!! We were pulling the thing apart last night and found nothing!!! I don't understand it and we were more like this 1991 ad than enjoying our 'intimate' time together!!!! LOL!!!

I hope i've cheered someone up today!!!! :-D

Good morning all, just signed in and realised that the last time I was here was 29th July !!!

Have been so so very busy, DH has been away for a week, then I was away for a week, got back on Saturday night there and had empty wardrobes and full washing basket to face, did 8 loads of washing on Sunday and Monday, and there's still two loads in the basket.

DH is away again from Thursday, so we've not really had chance for any 'fun' this month. We did DTD briefly on CD10, but I'm not even going to add myself to the testing list on the strength of one night.

I'm trying to catch up, but its over 40 pages, and I really don't have the time or inclination to read back so far, so "Congratulations" to any BFPs I've missed, and ((HUGS)) to anyone who needs them. Going to go and have a scout at the <12wk thread to see if I recognise any names.

    Hello everyone,
Just catching up on posts. Congrats Teenie, it must be an amazing feeling!
I just wondered if anyone had any doubts prior to ttc? We have spent the best part of 6 months easing into the subject and recently talked in depth about how we'd rather try and see what happens, than always wonder what might have been.
We both have jobs but of course finances will be tight - can anyone advise an 'ideal' amount of cash to have in the bank before baby arrives?
We would obviously be very MSE in the 9 months beforehand...

Also what doubts did you/do you have? I worry about so much and especially that my gran and mum did not have a very close relationship (gran raised her alone alot) then I don't get on perfectly with my mum (she raised my bro and I alone alot). We've turned out fine though and I know not much can be done apart from the best you can do!

My chart looked odd prior to OV this month - stick with it. If you're using FF, you need to "set-up" your home page using the settings down the left hand side and then you get a web address you can share with peeps!
