I'm a midlander, therefore not illiterate and northern or posh and southern. Where I come from we call bread rolls "batches".
In non-ttc news, my rollerskates arrived! (Bit of a sizing saga, but all sorted) I have had them on since I got home and have mainly been going around the kitchen table saying "wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" while the dog looks on in bemusement.
In ttc news, there is none, I'm ??days past ov and feel a bit crappy, but that's sure to being knackered.
Love and babydust ladies xx
oohhh i am soooo jealous...i havent worn skates since i was 18....i miss them so...i might have to take my kids the the roller rink on sunday
..i used to go everywhere on my skates i even used to deliver my newspapers wearing them....it took some work getting up and down the stairs in the blocks of flats in them
sorry i am rambling but i miss my skate0 -

I don't mind either way i just want to get pregnant have a sticky bean and happy child!
Life is funny isn't it....
Yes the women could be seen as selfish and should appreciate what they've got BUT did you see the look in their eyes?!?!:( I felt really sorry for them, possibly coz I fear I'll eventually be in the same position. Admittedly the woman who loves pink comes across as spoilt and whiney but the look of sadness in her eyes really got me.
Especially the woman at the end with 8 boys...the look in her eyes actually made me cry:eek:, and when she was talking about her sons having kids and she'll hopefully get a grandaugter out of one of them and she'll be happy with that ...... poor thing:(
I think its really unfortunate for the women and do feel sorry for them BUT I don't agree with it affecting the other children....tonight I'm gonna go on C4 catchup thing to see what happened to the 'spoilt' woman after she gave birth...I sincerely hope that it hasn't affected how she feels about her new son.1.11.09 - debt = £45k:eek:

Hiya folks,
Best of luck today, MERFE. Hope you get some answers at last x
I watched that wanting a boy programme too :mad:. Like Penny said, just selfish !!!!!es really. I kept screaming "ADOPT A GIRL THEN"...but no, had to conceive their own. I have never felt so uncomfortable watching a programme but I needed to watch on to see if they had girls - furious when the awful rich woman got twin girls but I can't believe I actually smiled:) when the other 2 got the boys they didn't want again. My OH was hoping she got quadruplet boys.:rotfl::rotfl:It didn't bring out the best in me - the poor sons, not their fault is it?
I'd love to have either - like all of you ladies. Life can be so unfair.
Anway,
I have a TTMC-related query (trying to make cake;))
Is the choc cola cake a good birthday cake option?
My dad is 60 in 2 weeks and I'm looking at cake ideas.
CD7 here, next week hope we'll be making baby rather than cake. Yeah!:cool:0 -
Fuz, I'd like to add that maybe watching this prog one month after a MC isn't wise for me and yes, I saw how sad she looked - so how is she going to be a mother to the children she already has? She has a responsibility to those children in her life and to her husband and must seek some professional help in order to live the life she was given.0

Not far from me then at a guess. I'm in the East Midlands and you can just about tell what small town people come from around here by what they call bread rolls (which are cobs incidentally!;)) and also, whether they understand what you mean when you use the term 'mardy'!Oh come on, test already!:j:j:j
Naughty Quaver!(Although I would too!!)
Off to the doctors later to get the ball rolling with finding out what keeps happening. Not sure what to say to the doctor when I get there.
Good luck Merfe.0 -
