  • Just a quick update, my wife went to the GP, she's having her first scan this afternoon, the GP/nurse thinks she may be 6 weeks in, already... We'll be heading over to the other boards on here, as soon as the news comes back that the scan is ok and everything's looking as normal as things should be.

In the meantime, good luck to you all, and I'm sure that eventually things will work themselves right, I think part of the issue is that people pay so much attention to detail that they miss the fun of DTD and BD and all that - if it's going to happen, it will.

I even read somewhere that the best time to DTD is 2-5 days before OV, as the little swimmers take a couple of days to get up to where they need to be. (My wife said that I needed to advertise for new swimmers in order to boost the membership of the swimming club, since my SA was less than 1 million)... DTD on the day of OV is probably therefore a couple of days too late, since sperm live for up to 7 days (to get to where they need to be) and the eggs live for approximately 24 hours.

Thanks for all the best wishes etc, my wife was amazed that I posted, but really touched by the comments, I'll let you know what the scan says later...

Hi everyone, long time no speak! Well to update ya I'm cd 21 (nearly the same perdi).

    Knew there was someone! *waves*

Feeling rubbish today - think it's hayfever running amok since Boss is also the same. Also managed to somehow pull a muscle in my stomach at the gym last night doing crunches - ow

Was irritable yesterday, and got quite blue when I got home. I've been fairly bloated too. These are all my usual pms symptoms so I'm preparing myself for disappointment this month *again*

    thanks gratefulforhelp - I'll check that out. With all these dpo's, pg's and ov's I'm a little lost :)

ov always comes before pg!! ;):D

Welcome to the board, I hope you graduate to the <12 weeks thread quickly. We've had a few that have joined and left us incredibly quickly recently so hopefully (for you!) you'll be one of them! :)

GTS - can I go on the testing list for the 20th July please? I've had an early ov this month, on track for a 27 day cycle. At least I get more bites at the cherry! :p

 CB's! Are there 4 of us now on CD14??

Hey Q - forgot to say that I was pleased to hear that AF is putting in an appearance. It looks like you might get a fairly normal cycle one day soon...good luck! Am I right in thinking you'll see DH again soon?

Have you been on Clomid QQ? Any side effects? I had the 'visual disturbance' - weird.

I'm feeling slightly more positive today - got a letter from GP - I 'passed' the progesterone test. Doesn't explain why I can't get pg, but it's good news of sorts. I have a GP appointment tomorrow to see what's next.

I've lost 22 pounds so far, almost got my BMI down to 30, which should help, and I'm on day 52 of sobriety.

By the end of the year, I'll either be pregnant, or thin!

Well. After reading the comments I am dying to test tomorrow even though it will be 11dpo but normally I've never got that far before coming on.

I am willing to go with the majority vote but what day to you recommend I test? Wed Thur or Fri? I think I may pee myself with excitement before. Hope I'm not heading for a fall.

    Oh......I'm CD14 too :j

Thanks Murray, I wouldn't mind sticking around for a while to get to know you all, but quietly hoping for pg asap :) Hopefully we'll all be accross there very soon.

So ladies, if I'm CD14 and have cycles between 28 - 31 days when should I be testing? (Dohh!)
