Thanks GFH - I'm trying not to look at too many stories on the web - not only is too much information not really a good thing but I dont think you really get a clear picture because I dont think many will say 'my fertility returned the moment the coil was removed and I conceived within 20 minutes' IYSWIM.

Wise not to look at the stories, TBH before I had it in I read a squillion horror stories and ignored them. There is no contraceptive without drawbacks, in my experience. But there are quite a few where the person got pregnant the night the coil was removed, so fingers crossed!Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0
