rachaelc, hold off testing as long as you can. Ov can be late, especially when ttc, and it's always good to know you are far along if pg:cool:

fantafan, stocking up on tampons? May work:D
I remember Smartie offering to buy us all cakes if she got BFP and it worked:cool:

Welcome missymoo81:wave: This thread is especially supportive when down, so get posting!

FairyShazza, I didn't get mine in the UK:o
700mg probably does not mean 700mg of isoflavones, is it this?
    http://www.hollandandbarrett.com/vf/labels/000005HB.pdf
It's 23mg of isoflavones (she needs to take 5 tablets at least/day).

I've taken 120mg, but a lot of people take 200mg. It seems to work better on their 2nd cycle.

In my case, according to the scan I had yesterday, I'll probably ov CD22 or thereabouts. Pretty good if it happens.
    My last ov was CD40:o

On a side note, my doc yesterday said Soy will help bring on AF on long cycles, so take it if you are far along in the cycle (before AF).

Lemontree, are you temping orally? Do you have enough saliva? And do you place it under your tongue as far back as possible?

Some temp vaginally... (I've never done that...).

Thanks for the info QQ, Ive passed that on. They were the ones she was looking at and she asked if she would need to take a few each day. I think she is currently on CD43 and isn't sure if she has ov'd hence why I wondered if the soy may help her.

CD26 here not really sure when AF will come. Suppose it could be anytime from now really as my cycles since the mc have been 31, 27, 28, 28, 28, and 24 days so am probably going to start being on knicker watch now!

As I only ov'd last week I'm hoping she doesn't come till at least Monday because that will mean an extremely short LP. Well actually let me rephrase that - I'm hoping she doesn't come at all! af.gif

Hope you all have a good day, am going to have to try and get my head down and do some work today as I have most of tomorrow off to attend an event so need to get that desk cleared!

GTS Can you put me on the testing list for 2 July? That's my first morning back from my honeymoon and I should have had my AF a week prior to that so if it's a no-show I'll be doing a test as soon as I'm home - fingers crossed for no AF while I'm away (taking the tampons just to tempt fate!!)

So far we've only BD'ed on CD8 and CD10. Intended to last night (CD12) but we were both asleep as soon as we climbed into bed - this last week at work for 3 weeks is taking it out of us, plus we're planning a party for the football this Saturday and my parents are coming down for an overnight stay tomorrow!! Hectic to say the least. Defo tonight (CD13) which should be midway through a 28 day cycle. EWCM has been present since Monday, and I had slight cramping on Tuesday in my side, so I am a little worried I may have missed it, but having said that, we did BD CD10 (Tues was CD11) and we we should still have hit it.

Anyway, who knows.. I do keep talking to the spermies, asking if they're still alive and swimming..... I don't get much response from them but DH looks at me as if I'm a loony!! :D

Hugs to all that need them and lots of bady dust to all.

Sorry my posts are infrequent, just so busy - I'll be back properly in July.

    xDx

fanta i did that as soon as i came off the pill, stocked up on ST's and then waited 3 months for blooming AF to kick in. Lets hope it works for you this month.

i've been temping for a while now and i'm worried that my thermometer isn't working properly. It was one from amazon and not all that expensive. Every time i use it it ends up saying Lo and i'm not sure if that's my temp or the battery. I've just changed the latter and it's still saying the same thing. Where would be the best place to get one from do you think?

Don't worry Lemon, my thermometer says Lo when I turn it on and has done since the day I bought it. I did think batteries then read the instructions and it's meant to. Does yours beep when it's ready?
  • Morning all. confess to POAS this morning (I know) and the flipping thing gave me an error message. Bah! Foiled again. Ran out of time to use the other one as DH needed to get to work early, just as well really. CD23 I think!

    I've bought vitamin B complex:D

It is almost 100% likely the doctor will prescribe it to me on Wednesday but I couldn't wait:o I could give it to my sister if the doc doesn't like mine. My sister is not ttc, but her AF is irregular just like mine:p

I think luteal phase is not the time between ov and AF, but the high temp between ov and AF. So in my case, if temp takes 2 days to rise = 2 days off luteal, and temp can drop 2 days before AF, which means another -2 so 4 days off my 14/15 day luteal which makes it short.

Well I think that is what he means.
