Hi, soooo sorry, I have a carp memory. What's your normal cycle length etc?
This is my first full month after not taking the pill and I'm delaying my testing this month until cd35 (so prob won't even get there).

Hey Doglover
Came off the pill beg of april, has AF as normal, the 1st month off pill, AF after 28 days, exactly (to the minute-ish) of previous periods, normal cycle is 28 days and was the same before i was on the pill. Hubby reckons its just my body getting used to not having the pill.
I dunno!!!MSE has changed me for the better!!DD1 arrived 15/5/11, ]:money:0 -
Have decided on reverse psychology for body.....ok, here's how it works. I have loads of fertility aids...ie CBFM sticks, pg tests, vits, folic acid and such and haven't got pregnant. Here's the clever bit....I haven't got many tampons in so in a bid to reverse psychology for my body, I'm gonna go buy in bulk. It's bound to work. CD1 and PMA in abundance!
Done that already :rotfl:missymoo81 wrote: »Hi can I join your lovely thread, I'm 28 and been TTC since 09/09.

I don't think there's such thing as a "normal" cycle as we're all different. Mine are 28-30 days, some are 20 days some are 50+
Sorry, didn't mean to say the wrong thing. I just meant "normal" for each person.
Do you all generally have a cycle of similiar length each time or does the length vary significantly each month?
I like the reverse psychology trick - fingers crossed.

Ooo based on you, I'd be expecting af in a few days. I'm a while behind you as I took my last pill on 13 May. You'll be interesting for me to follow (hope that doesn't sound odd!).
As the others say, you should prob try (really hard!) to hold off for a while yet before re-testing.

Welcome missymoo.
Doglover, I'd been on the pill since I was 16 and was and am 33 when I came off it. Within a couple of months I'm regular like clock work with a near normal cycle. I would say to pay attention to the number of days after OV to AF. This is the luteal phase and should be 10 days or over. If not sticky pg can miscarry so check it and take vitamin B just in case.0 -
How rude of me! I am sorry, welcome Missy. x
Rachaelc It's funny how when we type our reply we suddenly feel like we may sound odd and stalker like :rotfl:!!

Cool, thanks Fanta. I guess because I've never had a "near miss" and have reached 30 I'm convinced that I'll have oodles of problems. Not very pma. I'm taking mother to be vits - do I need more?
Once I've started to work out my OV time I intend popping epo as previously suggested and I'm gonna start necking graprefruit. I'll keep a careful note of it all but I guess until I know my OV times I'm in the dark still.

QQ where did you get your Soy from?
Someone on another forum has extremely long cycles and isn't sure if she is ov'ing. I told her about Soy but she isn't sure what dosage she should be taking. She went into Holland & Barret and could only find ones that were 700mg. She has asked me if I can find out where you got yours from? One day Rodney we'll be millionaires£2020 in 2020 - Running Total £170 -
fanta i did that as soon as i came off the pill, stocked up on ST's and then waited 3 months for blooming AF to kick in. Lets hope it works for you this month.
i've been temping for a while now and i'm worried that my thermometer isn't working properly. It was one from amazon and not all that expensive. Every time i use it it ends up saying Lo and i'm not sure if that's my temp or the battery. I've just changed the latter and it's still saying the same thing. Where would be the best place to get one from do you think?0
