Trying for a Baby part 5....

PS. Don't get me wrong here, don't go running to the docs unless you have tried for a year and/or you have really valid reason that there's something wrong with you or OH.
I have a close relative with PCOS and 4 relatives with mc.
Also I had mc and irregular cycles.0 -
Well at least you have had your thoughts comfirmed about the PCOS QQ so you can build an action plan based around that. Sounds as if he has given you some ideas of things to try so hopefully they might help
CD25 and am blooming shattered! Had to have an early night last night because by 9.30pm I was yawning my head off and am not much better this morning as have woken up and feel like I want to go back to bed not to work in a bitOne day Rodney we'll be millionaires£2020 in 2020 - Running Total £170 -
Unfortunately I was already registered with FF last time round, and found it excellent as most things included in the VIP were free last time, but because I'm already registered from back then I don't get the 28 days free VIP and discounted fee, booooo.
I don't have an Iphone either, bit behind with these things lol.
Well I guess I'll chart it manually and record signs etc on the paper copy, if I don't find another site that does similar for free. I have plenty of time, probably, to find one!
Sorry if I've misunderstood, but you can chart on Fertility Friend for free. Things like temp, BDing, tests and make notes. It's just the symtoms I think that you can't record. But IMO temp charting is the most useful. And it still does the prediction line of when you ov'd for free on the chart.
@quaver - responded on the other thread. But good to hear things are heading in the right direction for you now...Baby Giz born 6/2/110 -
Hey doglover, I'm not using CBFM or temping or anything so don't know my exact OV dates either, I have pretty regular 28 day cycles and am assuming a 14 day luteal phase (something I'd never heard of until I came on here) meaning I OV CD14.
I had to chop this up. Perdi, i'm a regular 27 day girl and I OV anything between CD10 and CD13, so I hope you're covering earlier than day 14as well? I only figured this out through temping, which is the most reliable (and cheapest!) way. My leutal phase is between 12 and 15 days, so although I *almost* have a textbook cycle, my OV and LP are most definately not textbook.

Hi girls (and any men lurking here), I am Honeypop and I will, sometime shortly, be ttc baby no.2.
I have a DS, nearly 1 now, and it took 15 months and 2 cycles of Clomid to get that bfp. My Dr has given me Clomid to start taking on day 2 of my next cycle as he is pretty certain it wouldn't happen 'naturally' this time round either, so I am just waiting for my next cycle to start, and who knows when that might be as my cycle length varies from 32 days to 90+ days!!
Anyway, following that little intro, I am after some info...
Last time round, I was using the fertility friend website to enter my daily info and it was charting my cycle, I would put in my temp, any signs of headache and other things, whether I had baby danced, signs of ewcm etc... and it would tell me when I was likely to ovulate, or when I had done. It was great for also looking back on to see what happened over previous cycles, you could overlay certain ones to compare them and stuff. Looking at it now, it's quite different and it looks like you have to be a member to use this function, and I don't want to pay!
Is anyone still using fertility friend, or is anyone using a similar website where you can input all your daily details and it records it for you to predict ovulation and also to look back on? As my cycle isn't 'normal' some sites I have found that work out when you did/should ovulate are a bit useless as they go for the standard 14 or so dpo.
Honeypop :j Welcome back!
I use fertility friend. If you pm me, I can give you a recommendation which would give us both free days membership - theres a link in the first post to a thread we started about this I think. I pay for it already as I've found it really helpful.
Hopefully your stay here is shorter than last time!

Edited to add: Oh, it's only 5 days VIP but it may offer you the discounted price after that time? Or, do what I do when I let it lapse too long to get the discount, just get the 30 day membership, then when that runs out, you get the discount so get a longer period of time..... ramble ramble ramble lolAfter 4 years of heartache, 3 rounds of IVF and 1 loss :A - we are finally expecting our miracle Ki11en - May 2014 :j

CD1 for me...even though I had my AF I just had to test to get closure - BFN as expected but now I feel I can move on to next month. I dreamt last night I got a BPF and was on way to tell mum but thought no, got to tell DH first. I never remember dreams! 18 days til hol, 19 days til OV...don't ask me how I managed that perfect timing!
Only managed a 9 day luteal phase but maybe next time once I get my new 100mg Vit B6 in the post. Happy Wednesday.0 -
I have to take DH's semen sample over to the hospital tomorrow or the day after. DH thinks he has super sperm and he probably has:mad:
This is something to celebrate :j:j:j
Glad you went and got some answers and some lines of enquiry.
CD22 here and AF coming early, methinks. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
fantafan, sorry for AF catching you
I think I'll get Vit Bs as well since my luteal is short too...
Thanks FairyShazza:)
Are you SSing?
GFH, how do you know your AF is arriving?0 -

Hi FF, CD1 for me too - bah humbug! 3 days early again, but this month was never going to be any good for me, as DH was away for a couple of trips right in the middle of the month, only managed BD once on CD11. Long shot if ever there was one!
So, "Take me off the testling list please" (deja-vu anyone?)
But just had to say, FF, that I dreamt I was pregnant too, at the weekend, and it was really weird, i'd missed all the symptoms, still had a slight period, and was about 6 months gone with baby's arms and legs kicking and punching my belly, and I never even suspected! :rotfl::rotfl: But it was so real, I woke up feeling my belly to check......It doesn't hurt to be optimistic....you can always cry later.

Thanks SK, don't worry, anytime from CD5 until about CD18 there's no rest for OH. :rotfl:
But that's why I intend to get a CBFM if we haven't caught it this month, with several ladies saying they OV'd sooner than they thought, I want to be a bit more 'targeted' rather than keep operating in the dark. OH likes gadgets and was taken by it - so I might get him to buy it as treat for me :cool:0
