    Morning all. x x

Hope you're all feeling chipper today. :kisses3:

For all you trash tv addicts...Big Brother starts tonight...Yay:T...OH can have the footie and I will watch a group of attention seeking fruit bats doing daft things for five minutes of fame. The highlight of my summer lol.

I have worked out my "supposed" fertile days for the coming month (CD2 at the mo) and have put them in my diary so I don't forget to pounce on darling hubs. I won't natter him about doing it though...as he errr fails to perform when the pressure is on.

I have started taking EPO today...I used to take it a few years back as it is so good for your skin and hair...I never realised it was good for sticky CM too.

Hugs to all the girls that have AF visiting...fingers, legs and eyes ( o)(o ) crossed for the testees...lol that sounds rude. x x

Have a nice day everybody, think positive, never give up, we'll get there.

    Love Bams x x :heartpuls

    Hi Bams,

Its the other way round in our house, OH gets into BB and I want to watch the footie (which he hates), but we only have one telly, so its a race to see who can find the remote control first! (usually DS, right enough):)

Was reading my multivit bottle last week, and was shocked to discover that Boots have changed the formula. Their A-Z general health ones used to contain 100% rda of Folic Acid, then when we bought the last lot, the shape of the tablet had changed, when I read the label, it now doesn't have folic acid, it has Folates????
Any idea what these are? Are they the same thing? Going to have to call in Superdrug on my way home from work and buy some FA tabs to make sure I'm still getting enough....why do companies do this kind of thing? They have to meddle with products, but they don't tell the consumers what they've done...grrrhhh!
It doesn't hurt to be optimistic....you can always cry later.

You don't get if you don't ask!

Just read up on this on the web, seems that folates are the natural thing that is extracted from green veg, beans, etc, and folic acid is the synthetic equivalent! Perhaps its not as bad as it sounds, except that the rda isn't the same, so I'm still going to need to buy some FA tabs.

Just had a slice of victoria sponge with buttercream and jam filling - yum, yum! We have a strawberry tea party in aid of Breast cancer care in the office today. The cakes and buns look wonderful....might have to show my support again this afternoon!

    Fingers crossed you are wrong:p

Iainsmum, you shouldn't take regular multi vits since it contains vitamin A which could be harmful to the baby.
    You should get prenatal ones:cool:

QQ - re the multi vits - I take Boots' Essentials ones which contain 50% of your recommended daily Vitamin A in - do you think that's still too much?

Lil, Iains...please see official advice from the food standards agency below. x

If you're pregnant, having large amounts of vitamin A can harm your unborn baby. Therefore, if you are pregnant or thinking of having a baby, you should avoid eating liver or liver products such as pate because these are very high in vitamin A. You should also avoid taking supplements that contain vitamin A.

OK I will stop today - I thought as it was only 50% I might be ok but it's best not to take the risk x
