GTS - When you do the list can you add me for 16 June pls
I found an IC hiding in the drawer so if AF doesn't join me in Spain, then I'll test the morning after I get back.
Sending oodles of PMA round to everyone x0 -

saw the doctor tonight to get my scan and blood test results. Turns out i have low progesterone levels, and doctor doesn't think i probably ov due to really long bleeding. He's refering me further and says that even if they come back and say i have to wait 12 months he's gonna push it as i have the hormone level problem which isn't going to sort itself out in the next 6 months.
I did mention using AC as a matter of last resort to stop the bleeding and he did a quick google search (didn't expect that i'll tell you) and said he would look into it further but that it's got some hormone properties which have worked on me at the moment.
Heh Lemontree, my doc said I have low progesterone levels too but wanted my OH to get tested before he took it further with me. Looks like we'll be heading that way now tho.Hey Dusty,
Big :grouphug: from all on here. You've only been seriously trying from Jan 2010 so you still have 30% chance which is better than none. You have your CBFM so know exactly when to DTD to give that 30% the best chance. Did the Doc say if drinking had been a factor for mr dusty or even begin to investigate why?
I'm guessing his lack of attention to the problem is probably a cover for his upset. I'm sure blokes hate to hear they're not up to parr. As for discussing it, mine is like getting blood out of a stone. He talks eventually but it's after a whirlwind of turmoil for me first. Sometimes is best to let them come around to the idea of talking. I would say it's good that he's mentioning adoption. Mine doesn't want to think of taking care of something not his own blood so at our stage it's not something he's thinking of. I long to be pg and carry as we all do but if I couldn't I would happily adopt. Give him time to adjust.

thanks fanta, I will have to give him time I know. We don't have 30% chance though, we have 9% of that 30% (never been good at maths).
I asked if drink etc affected it and he said no, it is just the way men his age are made nowadays. Having said that OH has really cut down his drinking since his behavious at Easter. i gave him a stern talking to and more or less an ultimatum and it seems to have worked. I think this may make him wonder if it has all been worthwhile though.
Well we will obv continue to give it our all naturally. I would just love for it to happen as easily for us as it does for everyone else.0 -
Even 9% is better than none...and if you think of the people who are trying who don't have the knowledge of CBFM. MV who'd been trying for ages and has just been successful.
My DH is 39 now so I'm up !!!!!! creek if that's the case. I'll be heading to docs in August if no joy...happy 3 year anniversary then!
I'm watching 16 and pregnant from MTV. At least we have other halves on board rather than them being mistakes when we do get pg. Notice I say WHEN not if. I'm sure PMA will help so here's oodles of it. Not bad considering I'm coming on!

thanks fanta, you have put a smile on my face. I'm feeling the PMA.x0

Evening ladies, long time no speak. I've updated the front page with all the PM requests I've had but I'm not sure if there are others, or if there are lucky laydeez I need to move from the main list and onto the grads list - if there are, drop me a PM I'm still about albeit periodically.
And so, onto the business end. I haven't been posting for some time as to be honest I'm a bit tired. Tired of the cycle of TTC (we've now hit course 19) and also am tired of some of the postings on this thread (I've been lurking). I know people will read this and think 'there goes another one jaded with the experience and a bit fraught and doesn't quite get it' but actually the point is that I more than get it. I can't help but feel that there are people here who are getting a bit over zealous with the whole journey and unfortunately are encouraging others to follow their path. Yes it is frustrating to TTC for more than a couple of months BUT it is proven that actually in most cases it can take between 6-12 months on average - in my view encouraging people to seek medical intervention after TTC for only a relatively short period of time is just plain wrong irrespective of age. Nature will take it's course whatever the outcome but don't force her hand - that way madness lies.
Lots of love and luck to all you ladies, thank you for the ride but I'll see you anon - like I said I'll be checking in to keep the front page up to date until it's time for a new thread.

My this is a fast moving thread!
I've had a look and to be honest i'm a bit lost! lol!
I have worked out that CD is cycle day? so that makes me CD9 if I count from the day i started my last period, If i remember correctly I should ovulate CD14 ish!
I don't really know my cycle pattern as I was on the Depo for 10 years and then been on the pill since. I was surprised how cheap tampons are, I remember them taking up a big chunk of my pocket money! :rotfl:
I'm also sorry to hear the not so great news too:( , big :grouphug: to all that need one
I'll try to keep up with you ladies and pop in whenever I get chance.

my oh has suddenly become quite interested in the leaving it to fate thing its quite sweet reallyLove is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together0 -
fantafan, sorry AF got you:o Vit Bs should work next cycle:cool:
Doglover, you sound so happy in your new home!:j
Hope AF stays away so you could fill that spare room:)
Debski, ewcm? Get BDing!:j
Have a great honeymoon:)
Sammy, I should change my diet too. It is shocking at times...
About CBFM, I'll know if I didn't ov via my temp chart. I think CBFM only tracks one ov, so if I don't ov, and CBFM goes back to low, then I want to start again. It takes another 2 weeks for my next ov (no AF in between).
But this is my first cycle with CBFM, so I don't know. Maybe I don't get LH surges in my failed ov's.
Ask me again in few cycles time:D
Dusty, sperm analysis results vary a lot. He should get another one done in few weeks time.

Get him something like Wellman conception tablets (we get Pregnacare conception his and hers which is the same).
Lemon Tree, doctor Googling AC?:rotfl:
Aren't there progesterone creams you can put on under your arms?
Obviously I'm no doc so don't take anything I say seriously - that goes to all my posts:o
Waterbaby, sorry AF got you. Do you have short luteal phase? Or was it just the one off?
Moleymoo, you are wise and right as always.
We need more people like you here, but most of the wise ones left last time similar thing happened. Who was in the middle of that last time?
Do you want me to take over the first page?
Wondergirl, check your cervical mucus to find best time to BD.
Babydust is like fairly dust that gives you baby - or so I've believed until now:D
Bigsister, sorry you both got a bug. Have you ov'd?
Phunkels, glad you have your PMA back. TTC is such an emotional rollercoster.0
