No think I should maybe take some iron did not think of that.

We are now going to see GP so we can go throught BUPA as they are quicker to deal with than hospital.
  • Mention how tired you are to your docs and see what he says.....it may not have anything to do with iron:o Was just a thought....*disclaimer, I am not giving out medical advice*:o:o:o:o:o

Hopefully BUPA will sort you out in no time at all:)

  • Hi all. Was going to offer the same suggestion as fuzz, Penny. Keep an eye on your iron levels, you don't want to be dealing with anemia on top of everything else. ((hugs))

I also saw talk of CM, like a moth to a flame, I delurked... The CM you're after (but not exclusively) is watery (copious and slippery but not stretchy) or egg-white (slippery and stretchy and clear), they're the most fertile sort of CM. The creamy and sticky sorts of CM tend to be seen post-ov just after AF.

Fuzz- can you put me on for testing on the 13th Feb please? That'll be my first time on the testing list in *ages*

    Sticky babydust ladies xx
Never argue with an idiot, he just brings you down to his level and beats you with experience.
  • Awwwww Bitzer you've de-lurked AND you're going on the testing list *wipes tear from eyes* I'm glad to have you back hun:A:D

You are a soppy old tart fuzz:rotfl:;)

I'm having a weird cycle this month, period was a bit shorter than usual (put that down to the snowboarding though), seem to have ov'd later than normal (cd 18 as opposed to cd15) and had more headaches and agonising post-AF and ov pains this month. Something's going on in there, I'd just like to know what!

  • Hi guys,
I'm new here, and a little bit lost if I'm honest....
Enjoyed reading this thread - you're all so lovely and fun and caring.

A little about me. I'm married, been married 13 months now. We started trying Sep 09, BUT I'm not sure if I could have even got pregnant, as I stopped taking my pill (microgynon) Jun 09, and haven't had a period since..... Does this mean I'm not ovulating, so I therefore cant get pregnant?

I've been to the doctor - he wont do anything til I've been 9 months without one, but said acupuncture may help me. So I've been having that since Dec. Tell you what, its amazing. Had 1 session, the whole next week had RAGING AF pains. (Hey, see, I've been looking up on the abbreviation list already!!) lol Went back Fri of the next week, sure enough, Sat, AF arrived!! Only for 3 days though.... Anyway. Since then, had another AF (acupuncture forced again tho I think) and just finished early this week.

I've been taking my temperatures at 6am daily since Nov, and there never seemed to be any pattern, BUT at the start of my last AF my temp dropped lower than it has before - this is what its meant to do right?
It's evened out now, so now I'm just waiting for my OV!

Question is, how do I know when it is?! Since it may not be a 'proper' AF that I had, what are the signs that I have OV? Is it due 14 days after my first day AF?

Sorry to bombard with questions, if there's somewhere else I should be looking for all this - or reading I should have done first, then please tell me to shove off and come back another time, but I wondered if any of you could give me quick answers, or just point me in the right direction....

Thank you so much again, hope to be joining all you graduates soon!! :)

    A xx
