Well I don't really know whats going on with me On Monday my CBFM was giving me a high but I did an opk and it looked to be positive. Unfortunately we didn't get to dtd as OH came down with a really bad headache (which he never gets) and had to go and lie down in bed.

The yesterday I got a peak and a positive opk we dtd in the morning so thats covered

Today I got a peak on my monitor but opks are negative we tried to squeeze a quick one in this morning but ran out of time have said to OH we can rendevouz later on but think we've probably missed the surge now

Am gutted we didn't get to dtd on Monday now! :mad:

Aaaah well not much else we can do now looks like I'm just going to have to sit back and wait. Anyone feel like their life is ticking past in two week chunks at the moment?

Rachael - I know how you feel. I've just come back from lunch with a friend who just told me she is 11 weeks. Although, I was really happy for her. The last person who told me she was pg was my friend who it happend for on first cycle and I was devastated. I think I am turning a corner with all this.

P.S the friend who told me she is 11 weeks today is 38 and this will be #3.

I'm good thanks:) maybe you've turned a corner with just this friend due to her age?? I always react differently to the pg announcements depending on the person...eg my cousin can look at a !!!! and get pregnant so everytime she announces her's(just announced No.5) I get insanely jealous(even now:o) but if was my friend who's been ttcing a while I just know I'll be thrilled IYSWIM:)

Fairy - I found that OPK's didnt corrolate at all to what my CBFM was telling me, and having tried (and failed) with OPK's for several months, I personally would go by what the CBFM is telling you as it detects 2 hormones rather than just the one.

I'm glad to hear that too MV. I tried a couple of months with cheap OPKs and never got a +ve reading so am hoping when my CBFM arrives (hopefully today) it will put my mind at reast.

How are you doing btw?

i think that is it. My last friend got married in the Oct, started trying in the Nov and got caught in the Dec and i was very jealous about it all. Especially cos after 5 years together my OH hasn't asked me to marry him . I just thought it all worked out too perfectly for her which is a horrible way to be.

Plus, i don't know how long my friend who told me today has been trying but it was only when I asked if she had thought about having any more kids that she told me.
I think she knows I am trying cos I was interrogating her over lunch and she looked reluctant to tell me. So I over enthused to compensate. God what sort of friend am I?....:o

Yes I actually pee'd on an OPK the day I got my 1st peak on CBFM to compare the two, and the line was really faint. If I'd been going by the OPK alone, I prob wouldn't have bothered DTD that morning as we were rushing to get ready to go to a wedding in Devon! It was a bit of a rushed and stessy affair all together!!

I'm doing ok thanks. Finally seem to be getting some symptoms in the form of feeling queasy on and off, but also finding I'm wanting to eat loads too..very odd feeling!

At the scary point now where it all went wrong last time, so trying VERY hard to keep my mind occupied on other stuff

It's hard when people you know tell you they are having a baby as you want to feel happy for them but you also desperately want it to be you!

CD5 for me so should get asked to poas tomorrow on cbfm.
