    Afternoon all.
Not had a chance to catch up on the thread yet but just wanted to let you know about the last few days with me.

    Sunday
Ran the 10K. Found it really tough but made it. Had a nice afternoon in a sunny beer garden.
    Monday
Went to Edinburgh for a meeting. Felt like AF was coming but bored and alone in my hotel room I felt the urge to POAS. Had one cheapie OPK left in my handbag so went for it...positive. Vaguely recall that OPKs can be used as HPT but no internet to confirm. Can't sleep.
    Tuesday (Today)
Had to go to the meeting first thing. Couldn't concentrate tho. Found a chemist on the way home. Bought HPT. Got Home. Took HPT....BFP!!! :j

Only CD26 (13DPO) so must be really early. I'm trying very hard not to get over excited but this is my first ever BFP and I'm so happy. DH is away until tomorrow evening and don't want to tell him over the phone so you lovelies are the only ones who know for now.

I'm having very mild cramps (feels just like AF) which is quite disconcerting but have read up and apparently this is quite common and nothing to worry about in itself. I have also felt queasy on and off since 5DPO. Other than that I just had the same PMS and slightly sore bbs I would normally get before AF (It's true it's not over 'till the witch actually arrives).

Like MV this was also my first cycle using CBFM but this was also the first cycle I managed to get the cheapie OPKs to work and they agreed with the CBFM so I probably didn't need to spend the extra money in the end...not that I care about that now :D. We have also been using pre-seed.

If it's ok I plan to stick around here for a while. It's so early on and you guys have all been so supportive...I'm not ready to move on yet :o.

Any suggestions on a nice way to tell DH tomorrow night?

Someone on here (on the last thread I think) suggested writing "Hello Daddy" on your tummy with an eye liner or a lip liner - I thought that was really sweet but without being soppy! :o
