No mum, that month i used 2 different brands of OPK at the same time and dtd at least 10+ times over the 48 hour window. I also ate conception vitamens like they were skittles. So in your face! :rotfl::o


I still keep getting faint lines on my opks, they are getting slightly darker as each day goes by, so its all confusing.

If i do OV soon, it means AF will come around the time of my wedding/honeymoon

I have no idea when my AF is due is the honest answer. I have a history of non-existent AF. they put me on the pill to regulate it. Came off the pill in Sept and have had 4 + this short one since. the weeks between AFs got longer and longer though starting with 4 then, 6 then 10... then 2.... so it might just be that my body is being weird and nothing else. but I think i will test anyway to put my mind at ease. I just don't know when would the right time for testing be. When should pregnancy be dedectable with tests.


EDIT: I just read up on it and I think I will take the test 6th June. So could I please be added to the list.

I keep thinking I'm pretty sure it will be negative but I guess I don't want to be disappointed.

CD11 here and though AF is still with my i'm hoping it's slowing down a little.

Kairi you have my sympathy i went on the pill to regulate my AF and have been a little strange since it finally decided to turn up after i stopped taking it.

The luteal phase (bit between ov and af) should be pretty consistent of around 14 days (mine seems to be 13 days). So can you work out from previous cycles whether the ov dates fit in with this?

Could you type out your previous cycles, and the day you think you ov'd? Maybe we could help better. I would be inclined to suggest temping for a month or 2 as that would be a surer way of seeing when you've ov'd and you can compare that with your CM too and see if it all fits.

Otherwise DTD every other day to be sure. Remember - a bit of stress can cause you to ov late and then you could end up missing it.

Thanks for that! Now you've gone and said that, I've googled sore throats as an early preg symptom and loads came up - so now I am SSing and considering a test today although AF is not due for 2-3 days.....

thank you ladies for replying. I'm just so giddy to actually get EWCM for the first time ever, plus if this means I've been calculating my dates wrong all this time then maybe there isn't something desperately wrong wioth me after all....!!

worried I've missed the boat now, won't see OH til tomorrow morning, oh well, will try and get a BD in anyway.

I think it would make sense to count CD1 as my first day of spotting from now on, as you did Fuzz. It will throw all my other dates out but calculating dates so far hasn't worked has it?

Giz, not knowing when I have ov'd is the problem, however if AF shows up in 13 days time then I know I was oving yesterday. I used opks for the first few cycles and never got a positive reading. The only indication I have of oving is the email from MMC telling me so. I've never had EWCM before.

I haven't temped before either as I just didn't think I would stick to it at the same time every day but maybe I now need to . I am seriously considering a CBFM.

Now chance of us DTDing every other day I'm afraid due to work commitments.

P.S as I'm typing I'm noticing some heavy feeling down there. Not like period pains but like I've got a weight in my womb IYSWIM.

P.S OH has just phoned the docs to get the results from his sperm test and they wouldn't tell him over the ohone. They have asked him to come in on the 7th June to see the doc.
Should we be worried?

I’m hoping that you won’t even need to use the CBFM QQ

We had a lovely weekend. Had a bit of a clear out and made £80 at the car boot on Sunday from selling some old rubbish that we didn’t want Then to celebrate we had a lovely BBQ later in the afternoon with some friends which was a great way to end the weekend

Came in to work yesterday to find out that our school is being OFSTED Inspected tomorrow and Thursday so this is going to be the week from hell I even have to work next week as I don’t get the school holidays off so while everyone else is getting a week to recover muggings will be the only person at work :mad:

Anyway CD10 here CBFM says low this makes me think I am going to have a more normal cycle this time after the shortened one I had last month This would indicate ov somewhere towards the end of this week so the bonkathon is about to begin

Feeling very happy as appear to be having a little ewcm :j it’s the right consistency but isn’t clear enough yet. After having nothing that even resembles it since I had my mc for the past 6 months I have to admit I got quite excited to see it – am just hoping it continues for the rest of this week now

Was a pleasant surprise to see the new forum when I logged on. I know a lot of people are complaining about it but I really like it and think it looks a lot fresher and modern

hehe I tried a few months doing cd1 on full flow but it never seemed to tie in with the physical symptoms so switched to 1st day of spotting as cd1 and 6 months later...Bingo:D Its not a quick fix but it does help:) and the fertile window is larger than you think so bd when you can and cross your fingers...but nothing else!!;):D

There could be a loads reasons why...so don't worry about it and just go see what they've got to say:) it could just be that they mucked it up and want another sample?!?!
