Trying for a Baby part 5....

I don't think I OV'd either last month and perhaps not every month for the last 6months or so, but I'm putting it down to my age...sob sob.
I think I did this month, but don't chart or anything...I am considering making our efforts more scientific, but I'm not sure it would encourage OH to BD, rather put him off.(
It doesn't hurt to be optimistic....you can always cry later.

Property prices being huge here we could afford a bigger place in a terrible area or move out of the city to a small town nearby and buy a house with a garden. My commute to work probably wont be too much more and the air quality is so much better there too so it just seems like the best option. Putting TTC on hold is the best idea because I don't fancy doing a move in the horrible early stages.Feisty_Fairy wrote: »Hello all you lovely ladies,:D
Hugs to those who need them!
Well im a bit confused tbh, was supposed to be ovulating from omnday onwards so we DTD on the days leading up to it, and have been testing each day with OV strips but no OV??? Am i missing summat? Im confuzzled lol, new to TTC so not sure what it may mean? :oI have been charting for a couple of onths and have had a 28 day cycle and then a 30 so just did an average, am i doin summat wrong do u think?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Sticky baby dust to all xoxox
I must have ov'd very late last much (about a week late) and so BD'd on the wrong daysNot taking any chances this month and BDing right up to my period.
CD17 - temp still up, so def think I ov'd on Friday, so am in the 2WWAm really going to try and chill out for the next 2 weeks.
Yeah easier said that done!

Yep, GIZ, 2WW for me too...I remember when I used to moan cos AF seemed to come too soon, now I'm wishing my time away. And I'm determined not to POAS until I'm at least 4 days late...that's easier said than done too!It doesn't hurt to be optimistic....you can always cry later.

haha, me too. I've got my testing day as the 9th April...that would be CD36 which was my longest cycle ever (last month). Usually i'm 28 - 31. If I ov'd day 15, then it should be a 29 day cycle technically. But will try not to get my hopes up just incase it is another long cycle.Baby Giz born 6/2/110 -
Before I knew I was pg with DS, I was three weeks late before I tested. I kept saying (after about 10 days), if I don't start by Friday I'll buy a test, if I don't start by Monday I'll buy a test, if I don't start.......
I just kept putting it off and putting it off because I didn't think we could get pregnant and I was just extraordinarily late - doh!
No-one more shocked than me when I finally tested +ve. Now I'm counting days until I CAN test.:)It doesn't hurt to be optimistic....you can always cry later.

How long did your temp stay up? If it's something like 2 weeks, then I'd say you ov'd;)
No, only a day. My friend said hers stayed up when she was actually pg. Mine went straight back down like a lead balloon. The CBFT said I was still high fertility chance after the temp went up so I started disbelieving it as it's meant to give you a few extra fertile days...I got up to 10+ then AF showed up.
CD7 I think for me. Have BD'd this morning so here's to tomorrow night or Tuesday.:T0 -
Morning ladies!
Hope everyone had a good weekend! Monday again bah!
Well CD20 for me not much to report. Can't believe that in just over a week I will find out if I'm pg or not-to be honest with you I don't think I am just don't "feel" like I am.
Hopefully we should find out when we can move in the next couple of days. We have looked at another house and we will just take it, it is not perfect but it is pretty good and rentals are just flying out at the mo around here so we were worried about not taking it. It has a large living room and HUGE kitchen which is perfect for us. The garden is totally enclosed which we are happier about as my DD can go out and play and we don't have to worry too much about her wandering off (or dare I say it someone snatching her-that probably sounds OTT but it is somehting I am very aware of:o).
The only downfall are the bedrooms, ours is a decent size but my DD's is really small, her bedroom just now is a good sized room with loads of room for toys. Her bedroom is downstairs which I am not altogether happy about but I'm sure it will be fine (lol it will just have to be!).
We are supposed to be going to my BIL's wedding dance in May-we are not invited to the wedding as his wife- to- be doesn't want a fuss, which is fair enough but they are expecting everyone to travel 100 miles for the pleasure! We thought we would go and make a weekend of it, travelling down on the Friday morning but as things stand just now we just can't afford it! Our car tax and MOT is due around the same time and now with us moving we are going to need a fridge/freezer as that is the only thing we don't have (we just sold our one a couple of months ago as it was in storage and didn't need it!).
My DH is going to tell his Mum priobably in the next couple of days-huh that should be fun, she won't be happy but can't really see anyway around it without having to borrow money and we are not really prepared to do that. We did start saving for it but my DH had to take a 10% pay cut in November and it hasn't increased yet so things are just so tight just now:(.
My DH is also also having serious problems with his hands and shoulders, he is in pain all the time has limited strength in his hands and feeling pretty down, he had an MRI on his brain and neck on Friday so hopefully we will find out what the problem is and he can start treatment asap. He was saying that even if we did have the money to go to the wedding, it will depend on what they discover what is wrong with him, how his treatment goes and how he is feeling etc. Hopefully eveyone will understand, we will feel very bad about missing the day but as we see it just now we can't do much about it.
Oh dear me what an essay I have written-just need to get things off my chest I suppose, sorry!

We're here to listen ((Hugs)). It's good you've found somewhere quickly.
As for the wedding dance (never heard of that before) I had my wedding a fair way away from OH's family, close to mine and I would have totally understood if people couldn't come because of money.
I don't suppose a cheaper version of a stay over is an option? Like camping? Not for everyone I know - but it's a suggestion.
As for your fridge freezer, don't forget to check freecycle. When we moved 2 years ago I got an excellent (frost free no less) fridge freezer from freecycle and it's still going nowMust have been worth £500 new. So you just don't know your luck - worth a shot.
Best wishes to your OH, hope the results of the scan are positive.
On TTC, I just put in my temp on FF this morning and it's finally put a line in on my likely ov day - what I thought - last Friday. So CD18 and waiting patiently. *twiddles thumbs*Baby Giz born 6/2/110 -
Thanks Giz, I did say to my Dh the other day to check on freecycle-like you say you never know!
Fingers crossed for you x"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0
